I have had an HP Laserjet printer for some time which worked well with my Windows XP laptop. I now have Windows 7 and the printer will not work as there is no driver for it.

First download this driver it is for Vista:

Then extract the driver with winrar or 7zip,

after this go to device manager and then hplaserjet 1020 it should be shown as "unknown" and right click on it then click on update driver,

finally brouse to folder where you unzipped the driver and click open or ok

install sould go easy from there
