Question about Computers & Internet
Try restarting the modem while it is connected to the router. the modem probably thinks that it is hooked straight up to a computer not a router. if that doesn't work go to the web gui by going to the routers ip address on a computer connected to the router. the easiest way to find its ip is to go to run (or the bottom search bar if in vista) and type in cmd. once this is up type in ipconfig /all look for the the default gateway. write this number down somewere.
next go get on a web browser (internet exploiter or fire fox) and in the address bar type in that number. this will take you to the web gui. start adjusting the router so that it works with your internet service.
