Question about Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V2000 Notebook
Yes you need to download the drivers for wireless card from the manufacturer's site and after that will work ...The function itself its still working ..but it has no driver to work with ..In case it will not work try the button for enabling wireless or try to enable the wireless from the task-bar tray or from network folder ..or from control panel ..
If you did not find the card in any of these places take a look in device manager (click right on computer and select properties and device manager ) and in there look under network devices and see if it is proper installed or not ..If it has issues will appear in yellow with an ask sign on it ..
this is the link for FAQ for this model ..
this is teh link for drivers.
The issue is that there are no drivers for windows 7 ..but download teh driver for windows xp ..and before installing open the folder and click on the executable right ..(click)
select properties and open the compatibility ..and in there select to run in compatibility with windows xp sp2 or sp3 and apply ..After that run the driver and if it says it can load it ...look and select to run it in compatibility ..

Tips for a great answer:
Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look on
both sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.
Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can toggle the wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN function key located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will have the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a tower with the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will display Wireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.
