Test the PSU if the units fan is not working the power supply unit is faulty

if you are having trouble with your graphics card

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((motherboard to your hard drive))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error If your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it or you might have a dirty graphics card remove the graphics card and clean the socket hope this helps

Laptop not working. says disk read error occurred. tried ctrl+alt+delete but saus phoenix secure core (tm) set up itility and enter pass word. I dont know the psss word.

What you have seems top be one of two issues, plus the password problem. Either the hard drive has malfunctioned in the laptop and the OS cannot read the disk to boot up, or possibly the BIOS/CMOS has "forgotten" where the boot device is. This can happen if there is a low CMOS battery event. In either case the laptop will revert to the BIOS/CMOS to allow the user to check settings and determine if the hard drive is being detected by the system. Unfortunately, it appears that someone has placed a BIOS password on your machine. These are not easy to get around. The only sure way to remove it is to disconnect the power cord, remove the battery, access the interior of the laptop, and remove (or unplug) the CMOS battery. Once you have done that, press and release the POWER ON button several times. This will discharge all power in the CMOS circuit and the CMOS will reset to factory defaults (no password). Then plug in or reinsert the CMOS battery, close the case, replace the battery and plug in the device and restart the system. You should then be able to access the CMOS. If the CMOS detects the hard drive on the main page, check the boot device and boot sequence menus to be sure that the HDD is the first device for bootup. If the HDD is not detected, or if the HDD is detected and all settings are correct and you still cannot boot to the drive due to the read error, you may need to replace the hard drive. If you have the recovery disc or an original OS install disk, you may be able to boot to it and attempt a repair install, where the system will try to fix whatever happened to the OS. If there is simply a corrupt file, the repair install may fix the issue, If the error in a physical one in the system area of the hard drive, you may be out of luck.

HDD is only inaccessible in format? Can you see the content? If not do you have content you need to backup? If so i would sugest recoreing it first and then sending it to the HDD brand copany for RMA

My PC with 865PE Neo2-FIS2R doesn't boot on SATA HDD... It actually runs windows server 2000. but after an unexpected power shutdown... the pc always boot on Managed PC Boot... upon checking on the Boot...

Hi Good day!! well i think your board didn't detect your HDD for some reason:
1. unexpected shutdown
2. cable not properly connect in HDD to motherboard
3. HDD have been damage because of improper shutdown.

here are the step to detect your HDD
1.pull out your cable from the HDD and then re-insert it make sure it its inserted properly.
2.go to CMOS and then in the "MAIN menu" check the primary master, primary slave, etc. in the primary master your HDD should be detect there. if not enter your primary master for auto detecting.
if nothing happens and still not detected you must replace the cable of your HDD.

Pls. Reply to help you more

Regards
JR

I have 20 GB HDD which can'not detected is any software detect it

try to check it on CMOS setup, and see if ur HDD is detected there, then also check the jumper settings of your HDD, is it connected as master drive, or slave, then check other devices jumper settings for CDROM or other HDD connected to your PC. (do this for initial troubleshooting)

Gigabyte Slot 1 GA-6BXC Start Up UnStable

I recommend that you formatt your HDD to a FAT32 system probably by using another pc then you should also ensure that your bios is setup for the appropriate operating system. maybe just download the appropriate bios files off the gigabyte web site.

Hard disk drive not detected

firstly check your cable connections, then log onto your bios setup menu during startup and check whether the Hard drive is detected by your bios, if it is then you can try to format the harddrive using the ntfs system (use the long formatt) if you are using windows xp or later if using any earlier os then formatt with the FAT32 system.
If your HDD is not detected by the bios then try to download bios updates for your motherboard and install thed in windows. is this does not work then its time to get a new HDD. thanks
