RTH2310b thermostat not heating to temperature set, I turn it off and back on, it runs few minutes then shuts off not heating to temp set on thermostat

All thermostats have a "Differential" setting that causes the thermostat to turn off early as an energy saving feature to blow all the hot air out before the furnace fan shuts down. On some stats, there is a switch on the back for setting this and some have a programming choice for setting this time. Others have no setting but normally start the heat about 2 or 3 degrees below the set-point and shut it off 2 degrees above. In this case it would be called a 5 degree differential. Look for these as described and adjust it up 2 degrees if found. Good luck.

How do I make my honeywell thermostat turn off right away at desired temperature. it runs for about a minute after letting cold air in.

Hi, what causes the stat to continue to run is the heat anticipator setting in the stat. If you have gas heating, it could also be the setting on the fan limit switch. If it is shutting off, and takes about a minute this is pretty much the norm. Once its satisfied, the heat exchanger has to cool down and there is a time delay when this happens. Yes, the air will be cool, but just for a minute. You may have to set your stat a little higher to compensate for this delay. Yes, the fan will run after burner shuts down and it will then cycle down. If it runs and never shuts off, then I would say you have a real problem with the fan limit or relay. Try what I asked. There is not much you can do. The anticipator is a setting in the stat that is set at the factory. Its about 0.4. If you have your stat manual, it will tell you how to check it. Good luck,

Asus Eee 1005HA hangs on boot

This works for my Asus Eee PC
1. Shut down and remove the battery.
2. Press the power button 10 times, next 1 minute pressing down.
3. Remove the memory and at the motherboard you'll see a clrrst (clear reset cmos..)
4. Short these 2 tiny pads by placing a tiny screw driver for 5 seconds, plug the power adapter and turn-on the switch, next wait at least for 3 seconds. Remove the power adapter.
5. Place back the battery and turn-on. You'll see the same screen (Logo of Asus) then patiently wait for at least 10 minutes or more. That's it.Good luck.

Panasonic CWXC203EU the unit is flashing error code EE and only when you unplug it shuts off the control do not work blows s a littlle cold air but after a shor time it shuts off

Hi.

EE means energy efficiency. hen EE is displayed there can be a defective thermistor or insufficient ventilation.

The following works on some A/C system: "When EE is displayed, press "energy save" and "zone control" simultaneously for about 5 secs"

Try also testing the system in auto mode, check ventilation and if possible test thermistor by reading impedance with a multimeter.

If when EE is displayed the unit also becomes non-responsive and does not turn off, then the problem may also be a defective controller board. Other parts, included the ones mentioned before, must be tested before replacing the control module.

My ASUS EEE PC900 shuts off about a minute after it is switched on. This happens even if the battery is full. Could it be caused by a virus or a hardware problem? Thanks.

Try hoovering around all the air holes in the case, sometimes a lot of dust builds up as the fan sucks air in and with the hot weather we have been having the fans have had to work hard. It sounds like it is overheating. My other half's did the same a few weeks ago ,
Hopefully this helps, if not, please give more clarification, how long has it been doing this, have you installed new software or hardware before the problem started etc.

I HAVE P5RD1-VM ASUS BOARD NOW COMPUTER STARTED PROBLEM

Hi,

several reasons for this.

1:) CPU Overheating.
2:) RAM Overheating.
3:) Motherboard Component Overheating.
4:) FAN not operating correctly.

These are a few things that can shutdown a computer after a few minutes, also viruses/trojans et,c.
can shut off hard-drives. and even instruct the bios to change settings.

Check that the CPU And case fans work correctly.

Sudden Shutdown

Hi, I am Sanja and will try to help you.
Try to remove battery from your motherboard, and power cable from computer case. Leave it for about minute, and then return battery, power cable and try to turn on the PC.

You should have no trouble in identifying battery, it is pretty much standard, if you have more questions please do post them

Regards, Sanja.
