To be sure of wiping out this virus you need to format the hard disk and install Windows again.
This is a pain BUT I would advise using this method to be sure of having a clean system.

I have just encountered Trojans and other viruses. How can they all be removed?

Hi,

There are lot of online virus scanners, you can try anyone of them in cleaning your system trojan and malware progrms, if you were not able to run any antivirus scanner

Here is the link for performing online scanning

http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

If you can install antivrus, just dwnload avast home edition for free, update the database and perform a STARTUP SCAN, which removes all the virus while the system gets booted up

Not able to open regedit!

Hi, you do have a virus and or trojan.

Please download Malwarebytes anti-malware from http://www.malwarebytes.org When you download choose save to disk and rename the file to anything you like, The reason for the rename is many newer trojans can identify malware removal tools and prevent them from working as well as disabling you regedit and task manager.
Let anti-malware install and update and perform a quick scan.
When its finished have it remove what it can. If it asks to reboot do so.
When you have restarted your computer download Avast anti-virus
from avast.com again renaming the exe when saving to disk.
After install it will ask if you wish to schedule a boot time scan select yes. Then it will tell you to restart your system, choose restart later. Open avast from the start menu and select settings. Go to updating and update the virus signatures. Restart your computer when the update is complete.
You have to watch the screen as avast will alert you and ask for your preferred action on what it finds.

When completed your computer will boot normally into Windows run both scanners again in the same order.

Good luck

My Toshiba Satelite A105-S4211 wont log in

I recently ran into a computer doing this.

Try what jmagnu said, hopefully it will work for you (safe mode didn't help me).

I basically had to remove the hard drive from the computer, install it into another computer and run a ton of virus, malware, spyware scans on the drive.

I used a combination of AVG, superantispyware, malwarebyte's malware remover, hijackthis, ccleaner, and a few others who's names escape me.

Best of luck :)
