Question about HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer
The software is available here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=1128296& . Select your version of Windows 7 (32- or 64-bit) and then click Next. Expand the section marked Drivers and download the full software to have all of the features of all-in-one available.
Next uninstall any driver for the printer that you may have already installed. Then disconnect the data cable if it has been connected to the computer. Now install the HP software. Connect the USB cable when prompted to do so.
What problems are you having with the install? Are you installing from a CD that was burned before the Win7 drivers were released? In that case, use the driver from the site listed above. You can also order a replacement CD from that link.
Is the install hanging up in the middle of the operation? Please let me know the specific problem and I will provide additional steps for your situation.
General support from HP for the F380 is here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=1128296 .
I hope this helps.
