  • For this, with such little mark on the amp to indicate what ratings it has I recommend contacting alpine here http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/category/amplifiers and go to the bottom right of the page and click "support" and contact them and tell them the mother board ID number. Alpine does have some real good customer service.

is the radio the only thing being powered, do you have amps and or subs if so I would assume that your radio is not powerful enough for the added wattage, if you dont have neither of the two you have a shortened ground trace all grounds. 2_18_2014_5_19_28_pm.jpg

Just want to know what speaker wattage matches my v12 mrv f705 85 rms x4 channel amplifier?

Use speakers that will handle 85 RMS continuous or higher wattage. I have 200 watt Rockford 6.5s on a 75 watt amp. They sound great with plenty of headroom if I go to a bigger amp.

try a differrent speaker of suitable wattage and ohmage (displayed with a number next to a ? symbol on the back of the speaker),

or

remove the original amp speaker and gently push in and out on it, checking for uneven resistance or scratching. the speaker should retract and return smoothly, without any scratchiness or uneven resistance from within, and if there is any of this scratchiness or uneven resistance from within, the speaker is likely damaged from too much wattage or distortion.

I have an alpine type rs one is a1542 and one is 1522 how can I make them hit the same or can I ?

I dont think it matters but it is not really a good idea to have two different subs in one box (if they are). They need to be in phase. They have to have the same amp is running them with corrects wattage and impedance, ya they can hit the same. The subs are so much the same i really dont think it matters if they are in the same box.

Press the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/CDE-9843

to choose the desired mode.
Each press changes the modes as follows:

It sounds like it may be going into a protect mode. You may be overloading the amp. You might want to go higher impedance and take it easy on the amp. The internal power supply MAY be collapsing under the load.

Don't believe all the numbers that manufacturers put out... we call that "Specsmanship"... in other words INFLATED numbers so you buy ours instead of theirs.

Need to know how to wire Alpine 12" 1242D 4ohm Want to use 1 speaker in ported box with Phoenix gold 2200pro amp

As long as the total wattage of the amp does not exceed the total wattage of the speaker, you can bridge the amp. To do this, put the positive wire of the speaker on the positive terminal of channel 1 on the amp, and the speaker negative wire on the negative terminal of channel 2. This allows you to run the amp's full power into one speaker.
