Hi,

Is it F1 or E1?

F1 code - F-1 means flood condition, F1 means that the unit is detecting water underneath the bottom drawer. pull the bottom drawer out and put in on the plastic tabs on the side near the bottom just behind the front panel, pull the drawer out far enough to slide a towel behind the drawer, you need to soak up all the water you can , then you may need to use a hair dryer to dry the sensor in the left back corner, when the sensor detects that there is no more moister in the pan the F-1 will go away, sometimes the cause for this is stacking the dishes to high and the lid doesn't shut down tight and seal the drawer.

If the problem is not resolved by the above procedure, you might be looking at replacing mains filter board which would cost around $50. However, at this point i would rather advise you to call a tech to make sure what exactly the problem is.

E1 is another issue with few models and more likely the concern is faulty controller. The buttons are usually unresponsive in this case.Tech are recommended in this error.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

F1 (or E1) is a "Flood" fault and means there is water in the bottom pan. This is beneath the bottom drawer. The sensor is in the left, rear corner of the base pan. Any kind of leak, including over sudsing or split hoses or or lid not down fully due to tall items in tub, can cause this. Remove the lower drawer, dry the water from the pan bottom, reinstall the lower drawer and check operation. If this error recurs you must find the leak and correct it.

Why does my Fisher and Paykel DD605SS stall part way through wash cycle?

I'm not sure of this, because the manual does not have an error with a E. I can fine error F4. It says it encountered a faulty temperature sensor or element. If the heating element burned through the night you circuit breaker tripped (Sure it was not the ground fault circuit breaker?), then the dish washer can't heat the water, so the program can't continue. The program stops (waits) till the chosen temp is reached. If the water stays cold the program can't go on.
So also check the heater in the machine. I hope you are aware everything in the machine runs on high (or at least dangerous) voltages, so be careful not to work in the machine when it is still connected.

How do I clear the error on a Fisher and Paykel DW60CSX1 error message E6

to fix essentially you need to reboot... unplug at wall - wait about 30 seconds - 1 min then replug. should reboot and be back to normal.
if you can, pull drawer out at end of cycle so condensation does not cause this problem going forward... ours does this when it's higher humidity

F&P Dishwasher Fault

Most likely you have fault code E1 which means door is not shut properly. It is likely the door springs need adjustment as the door might be opening mid cycle.

Hi Both drawers show error F1 flashing beeping with rinse light on and both pumps run after power is applied to machine

F1 error indicates flood switch in base has activated, meaning machine has leaked. This causes machine to drain continously, and can only be stopped by switching off power. Not easy to fix if you don't have experience- bottom drawer has to be removed to access flood switch, then machine needs to be test run and checked for leaks. Best to call the professionals!!

Dishwasher error

The error was a flood fault, water was not draining from either of the drawere, I removed the bottom drawer, dried drip pan and used hairdryer to dry fault sensor, the dishwasher then reset itself and works fine.

F1 is a flood code meaning excessive amounts of water have collected on the bottom catch basin.
If a flood condition is detected, both draws will activate the drain motors and flash F1.
Remove the bottom drawer by pulling the lock pins on each lower side corner. Slide down and remove front cover. Release the drawer slide clips and remove drawer then dry the catch basin.
There are three possible scenarios for this error code;
1. Defective lid motor(s)...Each drawer has two lid motors, attached to the cabinet on either side of the drawer, that pull the lid tight to the drawer when the cycle is started. (this was very common on early models)
2. Something too tall was placed in the drawer preventing the lid from closing completely.
3. (only seen this once) the drain hose developed a crack causing water to leak only when draining.
