SOURCE: ABIT AB9 PRO WILL NOT POWER UP

Sounds like it's going to die or its gone faulty,
Might need to replace it or take it to a computer store and have them check it out.

SOURCE: can i?

An attractive value of dual core processors is that they do not require a new motherboard, but can be used in existing boards that feature the correct socket. Check sockets if same then enjoy.

Power supply Abit IP35-E Motherboard power supply

Hello here is the abit homepage:

http://abit.ws/page/en/download/download_driver_detail.php@pFILE_TYPE=Driver&pMAIN_TYPE=Motherboard&pTITLE_ON_SCREEN=IP35-E&pSOCKET_TYPE=LGA775

This mainboard uses the ATX power supply, and a new power supply can be bought in a computer store, or online.
The price is about 100 dollars, for a good quality power supply.

You can take the case with you to the dealer, so you get the right one.

Good luck

Have abit ip35e motherboard, invidia 7300 graphics,4 gig ram, intel duel prosessor, been running great, then upon reboot, nothing comes up but black and white vertical lines, then goes to color ver lines,no abit...

From the one paragraph of info you have given, I best guess is that the problem is with the video adapter exclusively. While it is prossible that video graphics engine has gone 'bad', the symptom you describe strongly suggests that the video RAM is defective. As this is a 'soldered on' situation, you will need to have this adapter replaced (hopefully under warranty).

Unfornutately, without 'seeing' the system itself, that is the best device I can supply.

Good Luck!

I have an LGA 775 motherboard and I'm looking for the audio pin layout on J11 My pins are mic in, mic bias, gnd, spkoutL, spkoutR (last two have piggybacks with the same label)

I think your J11 is for front or rear speaker outputs.
The mic should plug directly to the board with no problems

If you have problems, you should be able to get a board layout at Abit.com

ASUS P5Q3 with Xeon CPU

Yes, it will work. However it depends on which one you buy. Here's one that will work with that particular motherboard.

First, visit this website. Now search for, "Xeon" (Without the quotes, though). Click the second result on the list, which should be the, "Intel Xeon E3110 Wolfdale 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80570E3110 - Retail." That processor is a 45NM LGA-775 processor, which Asus claims that motherboard can support 45NM LGA-775 processor.

Let me know if I can assist you further, or if I need to explain anything in more detail. If this solves your question, please rate the solution.
