Unplug it,open the door and look up,you'll see two phillips screws, take them out and remove the top panel,if you want to remove the front panel just remove the two phillips screws one on each side of the panel around 4 inches down from the top.

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? If you plug something else into the outlet, does it work? If not, check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker.

Door Switch

If the door switch or the door-switch actuator is defective, the dryer won't work and you need to replace the failed component. The switch is inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch. Check for continuity you should have none with door open, and should have a reading when closed. If not replace the door switch.

Thermal Fuse / Thermal Cut out

On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse (a heat-sensitive fuse that blows if the dryer overheats) mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel or behind the front panel. The fuse is about an inch long. It's usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing or is sometimes round and made of metal and plastic.

If the fuse has blown, it has no continuity. When this happens, your dryer either just stops heating, or it doesn't work at all. Be sure to inspect the venting/heating system before replacing the fuse this is the most common reason for blowing the fuse. (You can't re-set this type of fuse.)

Wiring

Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, burns and the connection breaks. In this has happened to your dryer, you need to replace the power cord and the terminal block inside the dryer to which the wire is attached.

GE profile gas dryer wont turn on. There is power to the unit.

The service manual is here:
http://www.affordableappliance.com/Download%20Folder/GE_Harmony_Dryer.pdf

Things to check
1. Belt switch and belt on page 26
2. Door Switch on page 25
3. The inlet manual; (reset) safety switch on page 30
4. The outlet thermistor on page 31
These 4 switches and thermistors control power to the control panel. Find out which one has failed.

My dryer is making a scratching noise like something is stuck behind the drum toward the front of the dryer. Any help?

The drum has a seal between the drum and the front panel of the dryer. You would need to remove the top then the front panel to gain access to replace or maybe clean the seal

If there were no problems before replacing drum I would go back and make sure all 3 wiring connections are made behind the door panel. From there this machine is too complex to diagnose over the phone.

How do you convert back from propane to natural gas, I already have the orifice but don't know how to put it on?

If you have the rear control dryer you posted under:
1. Unplug power to dryer.
2. remove two phillips head screws behind door, just in front of lint filter.
3. Use putty knife to push in dryer top release clips at seam with dryer front, about a inch in from each side.
4. Swing top up and remove two phillips screws holding front onto frame at very top of front panel.
5. pull front panel forward a bit and remove plug to drum light and door switch.
6. lift front panel off dryer.
7. Turn off gas shut off and remove burner / valve assembly.
8. Replace orifice and change out brass pressure regulator screw.
9. reassemble and test.

How to get the front panel off GE Profile Harmony

Here's a simple overview of what you have to do:

You actually don't remove the back sir, but that's okay, that's a common misconception for this model dryer. The proper way to disassemble this particular dryer is you start with the top. You have to start with the removal of the control panel, then the top of the dryer. What I would consider the top cover. Then you'll have to remove two plastic brackets. Then you have to remove the front. There's two aluminum brackets in each corner, remove those. Open the door and there'll be two more screws to remove on each side. You have to lift the front just a little and then pull towards you. I forgot to mention, before that part, you'll need to ensure you are disconnecting the electrical wiring. There's almost no chance of connecting the wrong ones even if you forget. GE made this part novice proof. Once you get the front removed, you'll see the lint/trap. There's a couple of screws on either side of the aluminum housing. Not much to it. Let me know if there's anything I can clarify further. Have fun!
