Question about Dryers
You can get a belt at most home depot. i would call ahead and ask to be sure. or you can call an appliance store. changing the belt it fairly easy. you will need to take the top off the dryer. you can do this by taking a flat head screwdriver and inserting it into the crack at the front of it. you will need to pry up on it. there are 2 metal clasps that lock down the top this is what you are trying to pry away from the dryer so the lid will come off. once you have done this on one side you will need to do it again on the other side. once this is complete you should be able to flip the top of the dryer back out of your way. please open the door of the dryer and look up where the door meets the frame. there might be 2 screws holding the top on as well.
once this is done you will need to locate your tensiner. find that and release it so the belt will come off. than you will need to slightly elevate the drum of the dryer to take the belt off and put the new one on. you dryer may be one you can the front off as well. if so than i would suggest you do so. it would make it alot easier to replace the belt.
after everything is done install the new belt. and put your dryer back together......
