Sorry for the late reply, I was sleeping when you reply 3 hours ago.

This kind of symptoms indicated of overload in the inverter board. The unit turn itself off to avoid further damaged to this board which is sensed by the feedback circuitry.

The following reasons of this symptoms are as follows:

    1. Busted backlight - If one or more of the backlight was already busted, the feedback circuitry turned off the power supply to avoid overload to the inverter board. The bulb can't be test by multimeter but has a physical indication of fault like blackened end.

    2. Faulty Inverter Board - Once this board gone to overload due to faulty parts like the high voltage transformer, driver transistor, resistor, same cenario will be done by the feedback circuitry.

    3. Faulty Power supply - When this board gone to out of regulation condition(most especially the supply feeding the inverter board), same symptoms will be encountered. This is commonly cause of leaky/dried filter electrolytic capacitor. Leaky capacitor has a physical indication of fault like bulged/dome at the top and can easily identify while dried capacitor has no indication of fault. To isolate it, you must have a capacitor checker.

    4. Loose connection - all cables connected from the power supply, inverter board, backlight, mainboard, must be checked also from loose connections and bad solder joints( cracked/cold/dried solder) because it will do the same symptoms.

If you don't have necessary tools and test instrument and can't troubleshoot the unit yourself, I would advice you to look for a qualified technician to isolate the symptoms.

Also check if your unit is still under warranty/extended warranty period, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free. Don't attempt to open the back cover because it will void the warranty.

    Hope I helped you.

    Have a nice day!

    Thanks for using Fixya.

Sometimes the picture rolls for 30 minutes to one hour and then the picture is perfect. A few times when we turn it on, the picture is okay and then after a few hours, the rolling picture starts. Where is...

The rolling is a bad filter capacitor on the signal board in the set---Any Mitsubishi dealer can look the model up and see known faults including this one---some of the sets when cold---vertical jitter in picture or just menu---If the menu is stable you have a tiny bad cap= weak caps when cold act up and when get hot regain capacitance and start to work.

If i put my camra on self timer win i print the pictures will the time show up on the pictures

The time it took the picture? You want to know if the camera will show the time it took the picture using the self timer?

My answer is Yes and No.

Do you have your camera set to showing the date and time on the pictures now? If you do, then using the self timer would not change anything.

If you do have it set to showing on the picture and you don't want the date and time to show then change the setting on the menu function of the camera and turn this option off.

If you do not already have the camera set to show the date and time, using the self timer option is not going to make it suddenly appear.

My car was jump starting another car and we suppect the must be something wrong on computer control unit

The battery run down as a result of the processes of jump starting. The cars providing jump power should have a strong battery to attain success. Second, the car with jump power should be turned on extensively during the jump starting. Later, the power provider vehicle should continue to perform to regain the battery deffect during jump start. Usually, old batteries performing jump start may be depleted completely of capacity. Contact an auto electrician to ascertian the remaining battery functionality to avoid an unpredictable malfunction.

How do I delay a camera shot on the fujifilm finepix j12? I would be extremely grateful anyone knows how to do this, to write me a solution, thanks :)

Hi,

The self timer mode is set with the down button on the Menu/OK dial.
It looks like a clock set at 10 to 10.
The first press sets it to delay 10 seconds, the second press sets it to delay 2 seconds and the final press turns it off.

To take the picture half press the shutter button to focus then press it all the way to start the timer.

Hope this helps.

Tv turns itself off and on.

I just had this problem. The plastic back of the TV has a grated opening directly in the middle and towards the top of the TV. There is a fan directly behind. The grated opening was full of dust so air couldn't pass easily. I simply vacuumed the dust. I went the extra step and removed the whole back of the TV and vacuumed the entire space.

I assume the internal temperature exceeded its maximum so the TV turned it self off. Cooled enough to try a restart, heated up, ...

i would NOT recommend putting grates in oven while self cleaning, dont even leave the racks in there!!!! ammonia supposedly cleans them pretty good, get yourself a plastic garbage bag and a measuring cup full of ammonia. place the grates in the bag and stand the cup up in the bag with them, close the bag and place on the back stoop over night. the FUMES do all the heavy work you rinse off under the sink.DO NOT pour over the grates but stand up the cup next to them.make sue to seal the bag as well!!!
