leaves unprinted sections all the way down the - joed911_9.jpg If it appears like the example above, you have a bad drum or (most likely) a bad fuser unit.
Take the drum (toner) out and shake (horizontally) back and forth. Check inside for loose paper or toner.
You can use a flashlight to look inside to the back and see the fuser roller. Check to see if you notice a bad spot on the fuser roller.

There are equally spaced unprinted lines on word docs when printing - why ?

It is cause of Error On Drum Roller of Your Printers Ink Section or in Cartridges. You have to replace it to resume good printing.

Zebra stripe wont print properly

Check the printhead pressure. there is an adjustment screw that does this. It could also be that your platen roller is worn or that your printhead has burned out pixels.

Won't print. Red light blinking

Reboot your computer and power down your printer. Leave them off for about 30 minutes or even overnight. (In other words, leave the computer and printer off more than a few minutes--some of the printers take more than 5 minutes before they'll clear their memories--a quick reboot won't do it.)

When deleting print copies it is safer to use the delete button on the printer than to delete from your computer, as then the copies don't get hung up in spooling.

I've had to do this a few times with Vista and printers, as things get held up in spooling on a regular basis.
