Are the black marks down both sides of the page and if so what shape are they? Are they a sharp edge black mark or faint feathered mark?
You say the black marks are around the edges of the page, does that mean all 4 edges?
Also is it when you print from your computer or when you copy using the document feeder?
There are 3 possible causes but I need to know the answers to my questions.

The black marks are on the left and right only. The marks on the left are about 1/2 cm of saturated black. On the right it is about 3 cm , the saturation decrease as you move to the centre of the page. It is on both print and copies. Thanks

This sounds very much like it is a faulty drum unit. The drum unit has a round cylinder drum and a black transfer belt. The belt can get damaged or the waste toner area in this unit is spilling out. I suggest replacing the drum unit.

How do I restore factory settings or reset Canon MF8180c. No errors are displayed. Printer won't print on network or USB.

This unit should print on USB regardless of how the machine settings are. You will need to install the driver on your computer, available as a download on the Canon web site.
Setting up the unit for a network can be involved, and depends on how you have your computers networked.
`resetting' the factory settings will not solve either issue.

Dark line appear at the edge of the paper while printing any document.

Dirt maybe inside the laser printer. Remove your toner cartridges and with a soft dry cloth clean the inside.

My Canon imageCLASS MF8180C has streaks when it prints and does copies. How can I fix this?

Does this problem appears when you use the page feeder? Yes, then you have to clean the platen glass using a cloth dampened with water. See upside of your printer for more information.

No mac drivers

I can't tell you why, but Canon doesn't support mac os for your printer. See link here, choose support & service tab and search 'mac os'.
You could write to them and see if they plan to support it in the future, but for the moment I'm afraid you're out of luck...
The only place I can suggest looking is here, but since Canon doesn't provide them and has never, it's pretty unlikely you'll find them elsewhere.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!
