Ariston 2.5ga reset button is located on thermostat.
Following image shows location of reset button:

Open following link for Bosch troubleshooting resources and link to your manual.
Read manual entirely to empower yourself and to avoid-anticipate problems.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-Bosch-Tankless-water-heater.html

Manual says:
Occasionally, the high temperature limit shut off device may trigger and shut the
system down. This occurs when water temperature exceeds 190° F and shuts off
power to the heating element. The shut off device may also trigger from a power
outage or electrical storm.
To reach the thermostat:
1. Pry off the round cover plate (V Fig. 3/1) from its right hand edge (W Fig. 3/1) with
a small flat-head screwdriver.
2. Remove the Phillips screw revealed beneath the round cover plate.
3. The cover (C Fig. 3/1) can now be removed by pulling out its left-hand edge. When
reassembling, work in the opposite way being careful to insert the tongue of the
cover into the slot.
4. Firmly press reset button (B Fig. 4). Reconnect power.
5. IMPORTANT: Check the operation of the thermostat, turn temperature dial from
high to low, if the red light does not go off on low setting, turn off power supply and
call a service person to replace the thermostat.
6. If the system works, place dial setting to desired setting. Note: a lower setting is
more economical and reduces the risk of scalding. Replace cover plate.
CAUTION: Call a technician if the high limit needs to be reset frequently.

Is there a reset button for a 6G50NVH-FV-02 hot water heater

Depends on gas control valve, and if cause is overheating high-limit event or FVIR flammable vapor event.
Turn off water heater when using flammable vapors, clean burner parts to prevent overheating.

1) GSW Residential power vent gas water heater with FVIR system:
Some models have intelli-vent gas contol
Others have robershaw gas control with auto-reset

2) Parts manual shows #15 'auto-reset' high limit switch on the blower
http://www.gswpartsonline.com/model/27484
http://www.gswpartsonline.com/schematic/137/view

3) Possible manual:
http://www.gsw-wh.com/pdfs/GPD135NInstall.pdf
Shows resettable lockout page 15
Water temperature must be 120 degree F or lower for reset. Unplug power cord, and then plug back in and wait 15 minutes or 60 minutes depending on gas control valve.
Some intelli-vent controls must be replaced when 195 degree high limit event locks out the water heater.
If high-limit lockout repeats, then gas control must be replaced.
Also clean burner parts, air intake, and make sure flame is clear blue. and not yellow-or-orange.

4) Intelli-vent service manual might apply to your water heater:
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Intellivent-service-manual.pdf

If FVIR flammable vapor event locked out heater, then unplug heater and plug back in.
Immediately press two temperature buttons. Wait for green light to blink. Release buttons.

Bosch has 10-year limited warranty.
Probably the seller honors warranty first 90 days and Bosch afterward.

I think warranty is similar to car warranty where parts are covered, and they pay for parts to patch up the blown transmission but not give you a new car. But I hear of cases where the company just send a whole new Tankless unit and you install it yourself.

Contact Home Depot and present them with receipt.
Contact Bosch with the same information given in Fixya question.

Error code e2. inlet water temp sensor. any one have to fix this?

Before calling service technician, open following link for Bosch troubleshooting resources, including error codes, manual, Bosch contact info, and service bulletins.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-Bosch-Tankless-water-heater.html

Error codes are starting point for troubleshoot.
e2 is cold water temperature sensor fault.
Bosch error code says: 1) Check connector on wires coming from top of water valve for a secure connection.
2) Sensor may trip if water temperature drops below freezing to protect heater from freezing conditions Any damage due to freezing conditions is not covered under warranty.

Another contributing cause can be temperature thermostat set very high and tankless sensor is going bad, and very cold incoming water, or combination of factors above.

Also read manual for advisories and required maintenance. Some units require water filter be cleaned monthly.

I have a bosch aq125 ding? the hot water is not sufficient to the temperature for a health dept to pass the restaurant to stay open. how do i get a hotter temp? is there something that is clogged or not...

That is a residential unit and at maximum will raise water temp 90 deg at 2 gallons per min.. You need at least one commercial unit with a thermostat that will allow high enough water temp. to pass health dept. requirements, and a self heating dishwasher at a minimum.

Hi my bosch tankles water heater lites up and the goes out any ideas what i should check. best wishes

Hello, Your Tankless water heater will briefly turn on when the propane is turned on and you switch it on but it only stays on when the shower handle is turned on to allow the flow of water. The water faucet must be on obviously. The unit will only stay on while the water is flowing out of the shower head.
If the unit doesn't turn on there is 3 things that will prevent it from operating correctly; 1. Batteries must have a charge /power. 2. The propane fuel must be on. 3. Water must be flowing from the shower head regardless of the spray pattern.
Good Luck!

Here are some possibilities and checks.
  1. The high temperature thermal cut-out has tripped. This would general shut off the Neon Light as well as the elements. However, even though your light is on check anyways.
  2. The flow switch not activating, Shut off the power to unit. Open the unit and observe if the flow switch activates when the water is turned on. If not then you have a faulty flow switch.
  3. Water flow to high. Turn the hot water tap on at the sink, adjust the outlet service valve until the water comes out of the tap at the required temperature, increase flow for cooler, decrease for hotter.
  4. The power selector screw not turned all the way to high. Check and turn all the way to high
  5. Element not working. Turn of the electricity to unit and test the resistance of the element. Here are the proper resistance for the element (240 volts, 40amps has a resistance of 2x12ohms) if no resistance than one or both elements need replacement.
I hope this gives you some more areas to check. Thanks for using FIXYA, Good Luck to you and have a great weekend. Jeff

Hi,
Here are a few things you need to check.
Make sure that the temperature limiter and the flue gas limits are not tripped.
Make sure that you have at least 30 PSI of water pressure.
Also check to see if you have a plumbing crossover and make sure that it is set correctly.

Bosch GL4ti Ariston water heater - have no hot water is it worth fixing or should I replace? Also, is the reset button different from the on/off switch?

Check if unit has power to the plug. If so, could be bad heater element or bad thermostat. Also could be reset button on thermostat and yes, the reset button is different from on/off switch. Element about $38, thermostat about $30 from www.plumbingsupply.com
