### What is the area of a circle if the circumference is 2 pi inches

area formula is PI x r squared
that is 3.1417 times the radius of the circle squared
example is:- 3.1417 times 3 inches squared =3.1417 times 3x3=3.1417x9=28.279 square inches if you want to work back from a circumference measurement, the formula for circumference is 2 x PI x radius or PI x diameter
if you have a circumference of 12 inches then the dia is calculated 12 inches = dia x PI to get the diameter , divide the 12 inches by PI and that will be the diameter so that is 12 divided by 3.1417 =3.819 inches
now you can go from the first formula the radius is the diameter divided by 2 so the radius will be 3.819 divided by 2 = 1.909 inches
so applying the area formula it becomes 3.1417 times 1.909 times 1.909 =11.458 square inches
to find your answer simply substitute the dimensions in place of the example figures.in the relevant formula.

### Can gain entry

use the physical key , or you are able to open the hood using a screw driver with a long shank ('~9 inch if I remember) or a quarter inch stiff steel rod of sorts. However, if you look through the upper center of the grill, locate the "bolt" that holds the safety catch. About 2 inches to the left and half inch down (as you look at it) there is a hole about quarter inch in diameter. Stick the blade of the screw driver in the hole and pry to the right (toward center of car). The latch will trip and the hood will open. Then you can get to the terminals to jumper and/or charge the battery

### I want to cut a circle where the outside line is 18 inches

To get a circle with a perimeter of 18 inches, you want a diameter of about 5.73 inches (just under 5 3/4 inches) or a radius of 2.86 inches (call it 2 7/8 inches). Get a compass, set its legs 2 and 7/8 inches apart, put one end at the center, and turn.

### The top water spinner arm fell off, how to get it

This just happened to me. The spinner arm fell off. It left behind two pieces of plastic attached to the roof of the machine: a grey sunburst shape, and within that, a white circle with two prongs. It looks like the spinner arm should snap onto the white circle with prongs . . . but you can't just press it back on, because there is no resistance on the other side and the white circle just becomes displaced instead of snapping together.

But the good news is that the grey sunburst screws on and off! Unscrew it until it comes free from the roof of your machine. Now snap the white circle and the spinner arm together, with the grey sunburst between them. Give it a test spin to make sure it's all together and working, and then screw the whole assembly back onto the roof of your dishwasher.

Apologies for the lack of pictures . . . this must sound crazy to anyone who's not looking at what I'm looking at--but it worked!

### I want to remove the composite rear bumper from my 2004 nissan

Push clips, or used to refer to them as christmas tree clips. Try getting a pair of side cutters under it but don't squeeze too much on handle or you'll cut the head off, but if you do, any parts store has more. Then pry up & out with side cutters. Parts stores also have a tool specifically for them, shaped like a fork with 2 prongs.

### LG wd8013F bowl support plastic pin fell out. I turned machine upside-down, replaced plastic pin, now doesnt wash or spin.

(A) Set-up
1) The inner bowl is supported by (2) heavy springs at the top, plus (2) telescopic shock absorbers beneath the bowl.

(B) Observed Problem
1) Inner bowl was missaligned, causing out of balance knocking & banging, also drive belt was squealing from misalignment.

(C) Remedy:
1) Disconnect power from outlet.
2) Remove (4) screws from back plate, remove back plate.
3) Bowl is suspended on (2) heavy springs from top, and (2) telescopic shock absorbers below bowl.
4) Inspection showed plastic pin retaining shock absorber end to frame had fallen out.
5) Place old carpet or whatever on floor, invert washing machine.
6) Re-align end of shock absorber into housing piece.
7) Re-insert plastic pin (about 2 inches long x 1/2 inch diameter) securely into place.
8) Re-assemble.

Also:
a) It could be one of the top springs as per (B)1 above may have broken or become loose.
b) In this case the top cover plate is easily removed from machine by removing (2) screws at the rear top of cover.
This gives access to the (2) heavy springs, which are easily repaired.

Note:
Sometimes the machine will not re-start again following out of balance problems.
1) Turn power off again, re-boot like computer.
2) There is also a re-boot procedure similar to Alt+Ctrl+Del on computer.
3) Use three buttons simulateously, Start+spin+option buttons or similar.
4) I fiddled with these until all lights lit up, then after a while the machine worked satsifactorily.

Cheers
