Not sure what buttons that were pressed after the alarm began but here is a link to the user manuals. You appear in a hurry=> RFG297AARS User Manual The alarm was not caused by you but you may need to unplug a couple minute's to reset the electronics. I will need to know what alarm was sounding. If you have any problem with the manuals or instructions in manuals let me know, Thanks Sea Breeze

I have a AW60448W stopwatch that I can't get the alarms to turn off.

AW60448W Stopwatch

Okay, now you have an excellent Stopwatch but don't know how to set it up. Well, I had the same problem but a friend of mine wanted one also and after I bought it for him, he being an old guy, could not read the small print that came with the Stopwatch. I have gone to the trouble of typing it up and you can benefit from this.

Now I don't expect you will send me any donation/money but if the mood strikes you, I will accept no more than $3.00 cash.

How do I turn off the hourly chime on a Wal-Mart Athletic Works stopwatch?
The way to do it is push the "light" button, then the "set" button. If the hourly chime is active, the days indicators will all be highlighted, if it's disabled, they will be turned off too. Basically it's the same as turning the alarm on/off, but instead of using the "start/stop" button, you use the "set button".

Push the SET WAKE/TIME button on the far right of all the buttons - it's the button closest to the CD player. Push it until the 1 or 2 show up on the display - whichever one you want to use. The push the CD player's forward button - the one with the two right-facing arrows - until the time you want to wake up shows up in the display. That's it. To turn the alarm off, push the WAKE CANCEL button, below the set wake/time button, the push the 1 or 2 button, depending on which alarm you want to turn off. The display will show OFF in the alarm you chose.
