SOURCE: I have a maytag propane
if it were set for propane it wouldnt light most likely you have to adjust the gas regulator valve which is usually found in back of the drawer or along the back of the machine there is a small set screw inside the regualtor valve by turning this screw you decrease or increase the amount of gas flow I have also seen some rare occasions that the screw is missing or not able to be turned in this instance you would have to buy a new gas regulator if you have any further quesstions message me back the valve is noted in this diagram click here http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/partsdirect/showSubComp.pd?imageUrl=http%3a%2f%2fc.searspartsdirect.com%2flis_png%2fPLDM%2fX2904488-00002.png as part number 20 and please remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations oh and btw that model number you gave comes out as a magic chef if yours is a maytag please recheck the model number and message me back the valve would still look the same and still does the same thing but might be in a different area Thanks Rick
