Remove screws from back of printer. Carefully remove plastic top cover. If necessary write down the steps you have taken so that you won't have difficulties reassembling printer. Once cover removed check small feed roller at back of printer to see if there is any obstruction and also front main rollers.
Place some paper in raer holder to see if it is seating correctly.

If this fails I have further solution .

Paper pulls to the right, jams, won't print, tried different paper still won't print

Hi,
Sounds like the feed rollers need cleaning.
Clean the feed rollers, lint free cloth, bottled water.
wait for them to properly dry

Revolve the feed roller bar as you clean them, to clean the feed rollers all the way round, remove all particles from them.

Check you ADF grips are set correctly, if not you will get mis-fed sheets. check the tray is sat properly too or mis-feeds.

Check paper size is correct in print properties too.
Should be good then
Try print.

Regards
Richard.

PAPER JAM

The problem sounds like your rollers have lost their grip. Remove the paper tray and tip the printer up. Push the red lever on the left of the printer down and you will see the feed mechanism with two wheels. Remove the rubbers on the wheels and turn them inside out. Replace them on the wheels with the worn side now inside and the 'sticky" side out. You should get at least another couple of years worth of use before you need to replace them.

Lights flashing no paper jam

I am had problem with LEX Z33. Won't print although file is getting through to the printer. (You can check this by going to settings/printer/right click on OPEN). You have 2 lights on top of printer. Left is paper feed light right one is printer on/off light.

How I solved problem was to take top plastic cover off the printer. Check small roller at back of machine and main rollers do not have any obstruction.

I found that the printer carriage was sticking (may be wear or congealed ink) . I removed a small plastic component from front of machine just below the print carriage when it is in docking position.
This component about 2 inches long attached to machine by a small spring. It can be removed by sliding carriage to left and easing lower trolley mechanism. My printer is working fine now.
However, I will be taking time off to clean all ink deposits before reinserting plastic part.

Jams

First of all, the feed rolls may be very slick, try cleaning them several times with fantastic or 409. They are probably very smooth and just spinning on the paper.
The feed clutch or motor, depending on the model, may be bad and not driving the feed rolls.
The paper tray may not be lifting the paper stack to the rollers.

Paper jam

Check for anything small stuck between the rollers, like a tiny fragment of paper, or any other debris. Clean it with a can of compressed air, if possible. Hold the printer upside down and gently try to shake off anything that may be inside. Sometimes you may have to dismantle the cover to check properly.
Clean the roller with a damp cloth and wait for the rollers to dry completely before trying to print again.
Make sure you have selected the correct paper type and quality from the printer properties.

Paper Jam HP LaserJet 1020

Papper never realy "jams" the problene is usualy that the paper is late reaching the next paper sensor. What i would sugest is that you clean the paper pickup roller it is usualy in the shape of a D. Clean it with dishwassing soap dont use water just clean soap rub it on with a clean cloth until the roller is dry so use a small amount. This should solve your prbleme.

Printer Jam

take it apart and clean the rollers real good with alcohol, they get slick with ink or toner, clean the whole unit. if that dont fix it then you might have a loose belt or broken part so look it over good while cleaning.
