Here are some steps you can follow to set a static wireless IP address for your Brother HL-2170 printer:
Press the "Menu" button on the printer's control panel.
Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Network" option and press "OK".
Select "WLAN" and press "OK".
Select "Configure Network" and press "OK".
Select "Manual Setup" and press "OK".
Select "IP Address" and press "OK".
Use the numeric keypad to enter the desired IP address for your printer. Make sure to use a unique IP address that is not already in use on your network.
Press "OK" to save the changes.
Press the "Back" button until you return to the main menu.
Turn the printer off and on again to apply the new settings.
After following these steps, your printer should have a static IP address that will not change. You may need to update the settings on your computer or other devices to use the new IP address in order to print.

Right click with mouse on the print icon in bottom right of pc ,select cancel print in list, then go to printers in control panel and clear all print jobs in your printer list.
