My Elonex LNX Cube 707 has a problem i was listening to an mp3 with a hub and it just died on me it now flashes blue and wont switch on can you help me please.

My guess is that firmware update failed on Win7. Try the same thing on WinXP. More information available at:

This could be virus problem on the hard drive, i will advice you will need to format the hard drive of your Elonex, before you can reinstall the recovery, if you can first format the hard drive before reinstalling the recovery disk, this will help alot and will give more light on what next to do. Follow the above and let me know if there is anything i can still help you with.

The elonex Lynx-cube-707 is the same system as Lidl's Silvercrest KH2365 system. I am using the same remote for both these devices as I too cannot find a replacement remote.

before the mp3 player went off when you were listening to it an application was on that is why the error message is showing on the screen.

You will need to flash the mp3 player for it to restore the mp3 player back for it to play normal again.

I believe, through searching, that this is an Accton.com.tw (accton.com) product. Having trouble find this model, is it old?

Probably doesn't have a power switch. I found a manual for 3016A:

And it just says plug the power cord in.

* Anyway why would you need a power switch for a switch-hub? Once it gets plugged in it pretty much stays on all of the time.

Of course you have no power. You're unit is probably dead for some reason or the other. Maybe you could open it and look for a fuse or other power supply problem? Assuming you have no warranty on it. If you do have warranty then you should pursue the warranty path for help with it. They seem to have USA support information.

This is a dumb question i'm going to ask but is the power cord plugged in. Mine recently killed over. Come to find out it was the battery pack, which was fully charged, just didnt work anymore.

when your mp3 player freezes hold the power switch like your going to turn it off and holdit for roughly 10 seconds. that should reset the mp3 player

Can't detect it, won't reset, won't charge, won't play... I reset mine and I had the Apple logo flash at me, and it wouldn't stop. I let my battery die and now my iPod is unresponsive...
