Straight across the back between the blade pulleys, then to the inside of both idler pulleys, then to the engine pulley. Hope this helps. Dwain

It is kept tight by a tensioning pully. If it is loose, replace it.

Belt diagram for craftman tractor lt1000 drive belt that is!HELP


Go to... http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action Then enter the model number that is under seat. Should start with 917. Then scroll down to Ground Drive and there's your diagram.

Craftsman LT1000 mower


In the Google search box type belt and pulley diagram craftsman lt 1000.....then Search images. The first 4 images feature "springs" however, you can clearly see the motion belt diagram. Hope this information is helpful.
