Question about Polaroid FLM-3734B 37 in. LCD HDTV
If the noise starts out fairly loud and decreases or dissapears after a warm up period this is probably the cap problem,which has a detailed solution posted on Fixya.If you replace the 2 caps ,while you are in there I suggest replacing the 3rd 1000 microfarad cap that is very near the 2 10 volt units which are definately bad ones.The repair posting is very good,and if you or a friend can solder it is easy to do.The instructions are really very good.
