Question about Televison & Video
I've suspected that your Optical lens is dirty and/or has a static electricity build-up. To clean the optical lens from these, I would advice you to use DVD lens cleaner and play it to the player. It will help to enhance the picture and sound quality of the player and clean from fine dirt and static electricity. Let me know it the symptoms still persist...

There is fault in the main preamplifier board [dvd signal preamp]; It is not a repairable board. it should be replaced as card basis. The board can be located at the bottom of the DVD mechanism normally. In some sets it will be fitted seperately. Anyway you can locate it by following the strip wire that goes from laser pickup unit to main board; and that is the one. OK.
