You need to connect physically the first time with an ethernet cable in order to access the routers setup page and get all the wireless security details from the router.

HOW TO SET UP WIRELESS NETWORK TO MY HP6545B

Do you have a wireless router to connect to? You hp probably has the wireless adapter already installed. All you need to do is turn the wireless switch on (located on the side or in front of the laptop) then connect to the wireless router's SSID that is yours or the one you want to connect to. If it is password secured, then you will need to supply the password or network key.

How to set up wireless connection on HP Desktop Model P6606f

When youclick Refresh network list, then Choose yourwireless network and then click Connect to your secured WirelessNetwork, it will asks for a Network Key before allowing you to connectinto your wireless network. This Network Key is either the WEP, orWPA or WPA2 Encryption key that is used to configure the Wireless Router. The Passphraseis an alternate way to setup the Encryption key.
When you are requested for a Network Key, you can just enter the Passphrasethat was used to configure the Encryption key in the wireless router.http://www.fixya.com/support/r5270415-network_password_network_addressFor information on securing your wireless network, configuring the wireless router and configuring the wireless card in thelaptop/computer, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-http://www.fixya.com/support/r3559128-wireless_router_security

My syster can not pick CCID interface driver.

Do you mean your sister cannot connect to her wireless router?
If so then -
Theencryption key secures your data from unauthorized access. The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key. The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings. To connect to your wireless router, configure the router'swireless settings ie SSID, plus the WPAor WPA2 encryption key and then configure wireless cards in the laptops and orcomputers with these router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktopcomputers can communicate with your wireless router.

Desktop wont connect to internet but laptop will

Is your cable modem also a wireless router?

From my search on it, it is not a wireless router.

This means you need to attach a hub or a wireless router to your cable modem so that more than one computer can connect to the internet simultaneously.

Go out and buy a wireless router. Connect the wireless router to your cable modem.

Connect your desktop to the wireless router with an ethernet cable.

Then you should have internet on your desktop.

Let me know if this helps. Give me a good rating and vote for me please.

The wireless card didn't get a IP address from the router when it booted up.
Right click on the wireless icon and then click on Repair.

Laptop Cannot Find Home Wireless Network

Try logging into the router with your desktop hard-wired and find the 25-digit passcode and use that to log on to the wireless network with the laptop. If not, then check if connection is good by hard-wiring the router to the laptop. Let me know what happens or if you have solved the problem.
