It can be repaired by using a tap and di set. If you dont want to buy one of those i would take it to a bike shop and they should be able to do it for you for around 15$

Where can I find a manual for a Falcon adventurer bike? I haven't ridden it for a few years and can't remember how to work the gears

It means its an 18 speed bike. The shifting is easy. Start with the left side, begin riding, keep pedaling, don't stop pedaling in ther middle of a shift, it will throw the chain. As you ride, twist the shift grip, up and back. Still pedaling? Now after you have tried that one, try the other side, its the rear with 6 gears. Up and back, keep pedaling. After you have tried each individually, try them together. And now you're shifting. Looking good
. KEEP Pedaling

I need an owners manual for a pacific evolution bike

Are you sure the derailer or sprocket are not bent? The next thing if not that is the cable itself is it pulling the delairer to release the gear from the gear it is in? one final is the bike just may not go into 6th gear depending on which gear you have the front sprocket in because it would pull the front sprocket to far past the crank space where the pedals are at.

How do I shift gears on my roadmaster bike 18 speed grip shift. can't seem to move gears?

The technique is online in many places. "how to shift a bicyce". If you have mechanical issues (besides not pedaling while shifting) try to define them better.

The back tire rubs against the frame only when I pedal. The tire wobbles a little bit while coasting, but appears to pull over to the frame while pedaling. Huffy Stonemountain 2 - 18 speed bicycle.

Either the wheel is mounted wrong, moving at the axle or the wheel is not straight true and strong (spoke tension issues). Look at it. Try to wiggle the wheel with your hand.

Use search engines for "how to" questions.

Pedal problems The right pedal fell off a ladies 26' roadmaster bike and will not go back on. I tried the old pedal and even brought a new one, but it will not screw back on. What should I do?

Did you try to screw it back anti-clockwise? 90% of bikes has one pedal right threaded and another left threaded. Keep it simple:))

Chain Broke on a Huffy Tundra 18 speed 26" bike. I need to know the size chain to replace or the master link/chain connector to fix the chain.

if the bike has gears it does not have a master link, that is for single speed bikes only.

You will need an 8spd chain for your bike (1/2" x 3/32), these will fit any 6,7 or 8 spd bike. This requires a special tool to install ($8-$25), I would recommend taking into a bike shop and have them do it if you have no experience with this type of chain.

Side note: if you do own the tool, you can repair a broken chain for a temporary fix in the future, so may be worth buying. Check around, many bike shops offer basic repair classes and cover this.

We have an 18" boys huffy bike and the chain keeps falling off. How can I repair.

If a single speed bike loosen the rear wheel and pull it back away from the pedals to get the chain tighter

If it has multi gears the arm hanging down has a ser screw that will need to be adjusted to align the chain to stop at the last gear

Making the bike from a 18-speed to a 1 speed bike

single speed bikes have a single ratchet or fixed sprocket with no offset of the spokes, so you would probable need another rear wheel.
Another derailleur is probably simpler, try ebay

Rear wheel problem

Take the wheel off the bike. take the outer two nuts & washers off. You will then have another set of nuts. You should only beable to get eathier a 1/2 or 9/16 wrench on the inner nuts. Then tighten those nuts. Not too tight, just snug. Replace the wheel on the bike, replace the washers & nuts and tighten those tight.
You should beable to pedal.
You did'nt say if this is a single speed, 3sp, 10sp or 15sp. If you have additional gears, then you may have to reallign the cam for shifting.
