Hi johnsj73
Probably a fuse has fried, preventing further damage to your device . Locate it and replace it by a new one of the same specifications .
Best regards ,
fanaudi .

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

When i turn on the drive it display it display code for ground fault. my wiring are correct. And i cannot use keypad of drive. how can i resolve the fault .

why cant you use the keypad/'display of drive, is it not lit up ? if so you most likely have a grounded phase on the load side (motor) I suggest disconnecting motor completely and measuring to ground with a high voltage tester (megger) if you have a phase to ground then all the power that drive puts on that wire will shunt to ground , causing infinite current , this will affect the power supply of drive and not allow drive to even power up correctly
also you failed to mention if motor was 3 phase if so , some drives require installer to remove shunt jumpers (see install directions) this will "Lift" the surge suppresors off earth ground and over to "virtual" ground that occurs at center of three phase power , this might be seen as a ground fault if this is not done correctly

How do I install a 220 volt outlet using existing wiring?

I would recommend getting an electrician. If you chose not to any mistakes you make can be a safety hazard and possibly kill somebody.

In this area we are required to use a 4 wire connection; Phase, Phase, Neutral (bare or white in the US), Earth (green in the US). You are missing the Earth connection and will need to run a wire back to your electrical panel and connect to the earth bus. Earth and Neutral are connected together at one point in your home. In older systems the Neutral was used for the earth connection as well, this is dangerous if a fault occurs. The Earth may also be called ground as could the Neutral but they are different even though they are connected connected together at one point in your system. If you have an older electrical system and do not have the appropriate Earth connections I would highly recommend hiring an electrician, electricity can cause fires and kill.

How to conect three phase 5 wire conection to 4 wire 380volt three phase from the machine

Identify each of the 5 wires with voltage testing.
Find which breaker serves the 3-wire, and which breaker serves the 2-wire.
--You might have a 3-pole 3-phase breaker (with 3 hot wires) plus a single-pole breaker (with 1 hot and 1 neutral) ... giving a line with 4 hot wires and 1 neutral.
--Or you might have a 3-pole 3-phase breaker (with 3 hot wires) plus double-pole breaker (with 2 Hots) ... giving a line with 5 hot wires and no neutral.
The 4 wires from machine are probably 3 Hots and a neutral, or 3 Hots and a ground.

You need to identify where the ground wire is. One of the 5 wires from breaker box might be a ground.

Case 1: 220 V, 50Hz applied to s 3000 measuring the output as follows: 1- phase to ground 220 2- Phase to neutral 219 3- ground to neutral 1 volt Case 2 disconnct the input 220 V we have 1- phase...

Did you measure with a true RMS meter?
If yes,the results are normal, but your ground connection is not very good.
The case has 110v potential (exactly half of the input&output 220v) because of the input and output capacitor filters (a capacitor is conectet from phase to casis and an other from neutral to chasis, thus resulting a 1/2 voltage divider). Because of this, the earthing is necessary.

Power feed in 208vac-1phase, is this a true single phase 208 & neutral or 2 120vac feeds 1 on Z and 1 on X ?

208 is usually referred to as a singe phase but technically it is poly phase. The industry refers to it as single phase as it is uses one line as power and the other as "Common", not neutral. If the plug has 3 prongs, It is 2 lines of power and an earth ground. If the plug has 4 prongs, It is 2 lines of power, one neutral, and one earth ground. Let me know if you need more.

How can i get single phase power from my 3 phase generator

I have not wire this myself
Wiki says under heading of single-phase:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-phase_electric_power
Single-phase loads may be connected to a three-phase system in two ways. A load may be connected across two of the three phase conductors or a load can be connected from a live phase conductor to the system neutral. Single-phase loads should be distributed evenly between the phases of the three-phase system for efficient use of the supply transformer and supply conductors. Where the line-to-neutral voltage is a standard utilization voltage (for example in a 230 V/400 V system), individual single-phase utility customers or loads may each be connected to a different phase of the supply. Where the line-to-neutral voltage is not a common utilization voltage, for example in a 347/600 V system, single-phase loads must be supplied by individual step-down transformers.

So it sounds like you take 2 legs of the 3-phase.
or
Take one leg of the 3-phase and connect to neutral ... neutral could be a ground rod.

I would put a meter on that circuit before hooking up my power saw.

Ingersoll-Rand G25 generator had been operating normally. Output stopped today with generator running and 120/240V breaker closed. Continuity test shows a short between ground/neutral and A phase with...

A ground to neutral short should not stop the machine and may be how the breaker panel was wired. Single phase 240 volt power just has two hot lines and the neutral just center taps the transformer winding supplying the 240 volts. The twin breakers that supply this voltage, should both trip even if only one line has a short on it. Check the resistance of L1 and L2 lines to neutral that feed the motor with the breakers off. Each should read nearly equal resistance which usually is only a few ohms when correct. Make sure the motor turns freely by hand as a locked compressor can certainly pop the breakers. If the compressor appears locked, remove the cylinder head(s) and try to turn again. If still locked, one of the connecting rods may have broken in the crankcase. The other problem could be a broken valve assembly in a head. If the motor has a capacitor start and/or run capacitor, it can cause a breaker trip because the motor cannot start with a defective capacitor. Hope some of this helps!

There is no neutral on 3 phase. They are all power wires. If you try hooking up a 3 phase motor to single phase power it won't work.

The pump is a three wire single phase. My inputs are two 110 voltlines out of phase, the 110 line ground and the local ground. Who is connected to the motor red wire, yellow wire, green and black

You need to connect the green and black wire to a ground. The other two wires got to the two hot wires from your power. It does not matter which ones are connected as long as the ground is correct.

First & Third space in GE TPL412RP are hot, second &fourth not

This is not 3 phase power...you have two legs of 120 ...the red wire? This leg is not a voltage source therefore that wire is not going to fire up that lug ...you only need 3 wires to make this circuit and a neutral is a redundant leg for this box
