First: Do this before:
Remove the battery and sim
Then DRY it with warm air (hair dryer) for 5 to 10 minuetes or more
but keep the dryer far of the phone in case it becomes too hot and be damaged.
keep do this till it turns on
IF it doesnt work, Find A MOBILE REPAIR STORE.

My nokia 5233 fell in water, its just black

put it in a bag of rice, Raw rice not cooked, for a few days. that will absorb all the moisture. Don't try to turn it on until you dry it. or you will short it out

My nokia e7 fell into water and won't turn on

Wet Cell Phone
Immediately remove the phone from the water, turn off the cell phone, remove the battery and SIM card. To dry out the cell phone put it in a large plastic bag with silica gel drying crystals then put it in a warm sunny place for several days or in front of a warm fan heater for several hours. Reassemble the phone and hope it will work properly again, but if does not work then it is faulty and you need a new cell phone.

Unfortunately if it still not working, it will probably never work again. You could try a new battery but there is no guarantee this will work.

Hi by accidentally I drop my nokia E71 cell phone in water the next day I kept it dry in sun now when I'm trying to call anyone its saying no network coverage do anyone have idea to solve this problem

Have you tried getting a new SIM card? I would definitely try to replace the SIM card, it could have easily been the SIM getting damaged in the water. Give it a try, they will give you one from your cell phone carrier.

My nokia x6 fell in to water and i removed every parts n kept in a dry place for some time and i tryed to swich on but the display light is not coming but its working

even if you dried your phone and havent switched on for about 2 days or so, theres still some residue of water inside. there might be some circuits that was damaged. better bring this phone to the store and have it check.

My E 72 fell in bucket of water. Phone off. Not switching on. What to do?

hello, all you need to do is just to dry up the panel first and also seperate the battery from the phone for at least a day, after that is done make sure the phones panel is fully dry,it could be under a bulb or in the sun.after that is done you can then put the battery in the phone before powering it on.

wish you good luck,

take care.

My cell phone fell into water bucket for five minutes

DO NOT USE HEAT. You will damage the tiny components of your phone.
The best thing to do is that the moment you get water in your phone, disassemble it. Remove the battery as soon as possible. this is very important. Then, open the casing and seperate whatever you can, like the memory card, the back cover, the keypad etc. Shake out any water that you can from the openings. When you shake it you will most probably get some water out.
Now, use a dry cloth to dry your phone. Dry as much as you can.

Next, take a bowl and fill it with dry, uncooked rice. Yes, rice. :) Put your unassembled cellphone in this bowl. All of its parts should be in the rice. Now leave this overnight atleast. If possible, leave it for 2 days.
Then, assemble your phone again. It should work fine now. Atleast mine did. :)
Hope it works for you too.

Plus, as you have already done the first part and dried it, just leave it open under a fan etc overnight and it will work fine.
