Try to restore your os, turn on your laptop, hold the f11 key when it prompted, remember it won't save any data of you, so your better to back up your data first.

When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermaloverload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is theproblem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are cloggedwith dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make surethe vents are clear and dust free. Use a can of compressed air to do this.

    Tip

Fix BootMgr Error when trying to boot Windows Vista

Alot of people have trouble booting in Windows Vista and some people might have this:

    041bd43.png
This is because the Boot Manager is missing and all you need to do is recover it. Unfortunately, this requires Windows Vista installation disc. If you do not have one, I suggest you purchase in retails or ask your computer manufacture.

Insert in the CD and it should ask you if you want to Boot the CD. If it does not show up, I'm supposing you should head to the BIOS and change the boot order.

[Image cannot display, because of image size. Sorry!]

Select your language and click next when your ready. If the CD boot fails, reboot again.

You should see a link on the lower left-hand side for "Repair Your Computer"

    d3c39fe.png
Alternately, you would attempt to find Vista Installation Directory

    31685c0.png

The process will attempt to recover the Boot Manager. It might take several minutes depending on your system and RAM. Startup Repair will not make changes to personal data and files. So don't worry. It should work after it's done, reboot your PC and it should be recovered! If not, retry again or post it in "Help" Section.

It should work and it needs to restart the PC to take effects. Remember to change the boot order before booting in!

    90B fan error

Start your notebook and start tapping the F2 key. In the diagnostic screen perform the hard disk diagnostic. If the diagnostic reports a hard disk smart test fail, then your hard disk is failing and must be replaced. That is the only way you will be able to return your notebook to useable condition.
If hard disk is ok I suggest you goto HP support Forums at

This document pertains to the HP TouchSmart tm2-1000 Notebook PC series.

The fingerprint reader login window is not detected when the notebook resumes from a Standby, Hibernate, or powered off state. Additionally, a password cannot be entered because the flashing login window defaults the cursor to the start of the entry field.

Download and Install Fingerprint Reader Driver

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver for Microsoft Windows 7 .

    Random freezing.

Since it works in Safe Mode, which only loads minimum drivers and programs then it is a sofware issue. Next time it hangs, rebott and go to Control Panel>admin tools>Computer Management>applcations. It will show which application had an error when it hung. Also check your drivers in Device Manager to make sure there are not yellow, red or black X. If so, right click on hardware and reinstall drivers.
