Check the voltages of a 4 pin connector with a multimeter.
The 5 volt will be on the red and black wires.
The 12 volts will be on the yellow and black wires.
If the voltages are not present or wrong then the power supply is faulty and needs to be replaced.
When you replace the switch mode power supply, make sure the total wattage of the new power supply is equal to or greater than the old power supply.

Need the amp rating for the 12v power adapter on Boston BA635 speakers/subwoofer

The bigger the better. It will either get hot if it's not powerful enough, or work ok. The amperage isn't important. The voltage and polarity are. Worst case scenario is you will burn out the adapter if amperage is too low.

It is almost a sure thing that you have put a lower amperage fuse in a higher amperage socket.
To verify, look at the fuse box cover, it usually has a legend of what fuse goes where, and what the amperage is.
Make sure that you put 15A fuses in 15A slots etc.
Also make sure that the fuses are not burned out, look for the little piece of metal that make the connection, and make sure its intact.

My heater works for a while then i have to reset the breaker

Hey Jesse,
Is the breaker on the heater or wall going off?
If it's the wall, then your pulling too much amperage for that wall plug and everything else that is on it. Like my bedroom electrical is attached to my Garage and back yard patio. Too many things working in the garage will flip the breaker. Heaters take up a LOT of amperage! Check for other equipment on the same system. (circuit breaker) If it's the machine's breaker, then it could be the fan getting crud in it slowing THAT down, creating higher amperage.

Lost my adapter (65w), bought a universal laptop adapter but it is rated at 90w. will this work for my everex stepnote nc1502?

Correct voltage Greg?

Then yes it will work

More Wattage means more Amperage.

Same voltage, but more Amperage

(Voltage times Amperage = Wattage )

KEEP the inside of your laptop CLEAN
Make sure you occasionally replace the Thermal Paste on the Processor (CPU), and Thermal Pad on the graphics chipset. (GPU)

Service Manual for disassembling the laptop?
Everex is out of business (To my knowledge), and I see no service manual available.

I should be able to step by step you through it, anyway; if you desire

2004 F-150 Maxi fuse, where is it and what amps?

If you look in the fuse block under the hood you will find several of them. They will be different colors for different amperages and labeled with there amperage rating (40, 50, 60, etc). ind the one that is blown and replace it with the same color and amperage rating and you should be good to go.

If it blows again let me know what is not working and I'll try to help you further.

My incline stopped working a few weeks ago. Now I have another problem, I turn it on and the belt starts then stops.

The motor controller weakens over time because of the excessive amperage draw of the motor do to lack of lubrication (which wears the walk belt and walking deck).

Take an amperage reading of the motor it should be 2-3 amps with no one on it, with someone walking on it it should be around 6-12 amps. I would bet yours is elevated above 6-12 amps. The controller is dropping output because of the friction problem.

The first thing to try after testing the amperage is to lubricate the walking platform. Then retest and see if the amperage comes down and it doesn't shut off.

If it does then the next step would be to replace the walking deck. If the amperage still is up you may need to replace the walk belt second and finally if after replacing the deck and belt, if the unit is still shutting down replace the motor controller.

We have a Goodman home type furnace 125btus connected a water cooled 5 ton AC Carrier. Contactors worked all of last year. So far this season two contactor have burned out. Can you solve our problem

You need to have a amperage check performed, I believe you have high amperage due to insufficient water flow raising the head pressure and in turn raising the amperage, also check the bleed resistors on the start capacitors, this can cause problems like you are experiencing.

Kenmore oven and broiler do not work

Hi and welcome.
Just because you see a glowing ignitor that does not mean it is "good". You need to check the circuit amperage to be sire. Weak ignitor are ultra-common for the appliance technician to see. The minimum amperage required to open the gas valve is around 2.9 amps. if you have access to an amprobe, read the amperage draw thru one of the ignitor's lead and you will see very quickly if it is good or not. Bad oven valves are much less likely than a weak ignitor. Many do-it-yourselfers replace the oven valve because they see the ignitor is glowing and assume that the ignitor must be good.

Hope this helps.

New igniter, still won't work

Turn on oven. Ignitor should begin to glow. (if no glow after 30 seconds or so, check to make sure you have 120 volts to ignitor) Observe amperage draw using a clamp on amp meter. When amperage reaches 3.2 to 3.6 (for square syle ignitors) the oven safety valve should open, releasing gas and lighting the burner when the gas hits the red hot ignitor. For broiler, just substitute the word broiler for oven. Old ignitors get " weak " and may not draw enough amperage to allow safety valve to open. Also, voltage will affect the amperage draw, as lower voltage = lower amp draw.
