Primary master hard disk s.m.a.r.t. command failed

This is a critical error for a hard drive. hard drive is failing and the only option is replace the hard drive. If the computer still boots up. You'll need to back up all of your files on a external media.

I have Dell inspiron 1525 window vista recovery reports 5 error are detected in hard drive and memory errors detected on my laptop 1. hard drive doesnt respond to system commands-critical error 2.boot...

your HDD may be corrupted, re-installing windows vista is one option. Your best bet is if you have/ can obtain a copy of windows vista run setup and try the repair wizard in the windows vista setup, the wizard automatically finds errors and missing files and replaces them therefore solving any errors in your HDD. you can also try to use the recovery wizard from your recovery disc. best of luck

I cant use my pc its always show hard drive error and critical error. what should i do

First - re-seat the harddisk and reboot the computer. If this does not work then reboot and go to theBIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn'tdetect the hard drive then it could be faulty. Next - to determine if thehard drive is faulty, remove the hard drive and insert it into an USB hard drive adapter and connect it to a workingcomputer's USB port. If this computer cannot see itas an external hard drive and you cannot open the various folders and files, this confirms the hard drive is faulty. Then the hard drive needsto be replaced in the computer, Windows installed and the computer's device driversplus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer again.

Critical hard drive message followed immediately by shut down. Cannot re-boot will not load Windows or safe mode

If this message persists at each shutdown I suggest that you back up your data and get a new hard drive. Hard drives fail slowly, so you may still be able to squeeze out some life from the drive, but the bottom line is that you're playing russian roulette. It can go off when you least want it to.
After you get your critical data off the drive onto an external drive or burn them on a DVD, you can do a disk scan (Go to Windows Explorer, Right-click the hard drive, choose Tools and run the Scan Disk utility and have it check for errors. Or, you can also go to Start-Run, and type CMD and hit Enter in the small dialogue box. Then, in the new window type CHKDSK /f and hit Enter. This will scan and fix any errors it finds on the hard disk.
After you finish scanning you may want to check the mechanical parameters of the hard drive using a SMART Disk scanning utility eg. which is my favorite, but I have the full version, not the trial, but even this trial will do the job of notifying you if your hard drive has a mechanical problem or not.
If the ChkDsk utility finds problems and solves them, while the SMART scanner does not find any problems with your drive, then probably your hard drive only suffered from software-induced issues, and in this case you can relax and continue using the old hard drive, with regular monthly "CHKDSK /f" scans just to be on the safe side.

My problem is my computer is always reastart in working my opareting system is windows 7

This sounds like a hardware issue, you need to check your error logs and see what is happening. Hard drives sometimes manifest errors like this. The Windows error logs are listed under the EVENT viewer, press start and type event. What you are looking for are errors or critical errors. warnings and information is of little concern. If these logs do not show errors, of significance, hard drive is suspect, again, as failure precludes the error being written to the disk.

Why does my computer say Critical error? windows can't find hard disk space. Hard drive error?

A critical error is never good. The next step is Data recovery. only skipped if perfect backup.... Then run tests on the drive, while hooked up USB to a good computer. If the drive has errors, you are looking at a total reload.

Scanner driver will be shut down error code 5,202,52

there are files corrupted on your hard drive Error 5202 takes place when the system is misconfigured or its essential files are missing. Such problems occur when a PC is not maintained properly and has accumulated many critical issues that require immediate repair.
you could run the check disk utility
click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will scan for and attempt to repair any bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive then defragment your hard drive
hope this helps

Critical error

A "critical error" could be caused by many things: Faulty RAM, a bad cable, overheating, faulty power supply, corrupted hard drive, damaged circuit trace on motherboard, and others. To fix, try removing the hard drive and trying a known-good unit, if possible. Format and do a clean system install on the replacement drive. This way you may be able to salvage data from the old drive once you get the system back online. Also make sure all RAM and any expansion cards in the system are fully seated. If this process doesn't help, you are probably dealing with a faulty cable or bad RAM. In my experience, the possible culprits are as follows, starting with the most likely:
1.Faulty/corrupted hard drive 2.Faulty drive cable 3.Bad RAM 4.Faulty power supply (can cause drive corruption) 5.Bad motherboard 6.Incorrectly seated/faulty peripheral cards 7.Bad CPU
If you can describe the circumstances surrounding this failure, or if any upgrades or other service were performed recently, these will be clues as to the source of the error. Please post them if available.
