Question about Motorola Mobility Defy Cell Phone
If you are still running Eclair (the stock Android 2.1) on your phone, search the market for 'Bluetooth File Transfer', by Medieval Software (it'.s free). After it is intalled, launch it, and go to 'Menu > More > Settings > Sharing service (FTP)', and make sure the 'Enabled' checkbox is ticked. Press the back button once, and do the same thing for 'Receiving service (OPP)', Notice that you can make both services (i.e. FTP and OPP) independent from the file explorer function, by making sure that on each of those pages, 'Start at boot' is checked, and 'Stop when close' is unchecked. Of course you can play with other settings too, like notifications, user interface, language, etc .
Press the back button until you get to the directory containing the file you want to send out (e.g. /sdard). Tap and hold over the file. A context menu will come up. Slide your finger up and tap over 'Send via Bluetooth'. You'll be prompted to choose the device from a list...
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.
Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you any further.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
