Pls help me how to know who used my internet

There is no way to tell who USED your internet......well unless you had tracking software in place or a way of looking at logs.

Actually, I believe alot of routers on the market today to keep logs.

OR, you can see who is currently connected to your router.

You'll need to log in to your router
-To do so, open a Command prompt screen
-Type IPCONFIG and it will show you a few IP addresses, one will be "default gateway"
-Type the Default Gateway IP into a web browser (probably close to 192.168.1.1)
-If you dont know the log in, you can usually search for the default login for your model and manufacturer of router
-From there, you will be able to see Active Connections on one of the config pages. There will likely also be a recent transaction log of all traffic

I was trying to install my ENCORE ENHWI-N3 802.11n wireless router. It was successful but it was secured i did tried to set a password, but the when I reach the login site, after now tries I was able to...

Try to do a hard reset by pressing the reset button for about a minute. This will reset the router to its default settings and you can redo it all over again. After setting up, write down the the login user and the password on a notepad. Then after that, try to logging in by copying what you wrote the on the notepad by using keyboard shortcuts "ctrl-c" and "ctrl-v" options. Or just inputting manually again. Hope this helps.

Will not login in because it said my password is different.and when it gets login it says i am already login in.

When it says that you're logged in then you are logged in.
Some websites or router sign in boxes know that you are who you are by your pc info.(your IP address). If it keeps doing this, get in touch with your router manufacturer to help configure your log in details.Obviously you'll have to phone them or use another PC.Good Luck.

I log into my router, try to change my username and put a WEP password on it. Click apply, reboot my router but it doesnt save my settings?

I don't think most routers allow you to change the login username, only the login password and the SSID & login passcode/passphrase of your wireless network. Have you checked for firmware upgrades to your router?

I am not able to log on my router,it keep saying wrong password. I've went thru the set up steps but it still is not letting me in.what should I do?

I understand that you are not able to login to router interface. Please note that by default the username for the router is admin and password is password and if that does not work then the only way to login to router is by resetting it to default setings.

Please perform the steps below to reset the router:

At the back of the router you will find a small tiny hole (which has a small button inside it). Press the button with the help of a paper clip. and hold it down for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, please release the button and power off the device for 5 seconds.
You can now login to router using default username and password.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

If I have helped you, please help me, and rate this suggestion the highest FixYa rating. If you cannot rate this post with the highest rating, then please comment to this post and I will try to help you further.

I would like to stop other people login on to my belkin wireless receiver from other houses, as it makes my internet so slow, please could you tell me how to do this

This is very easy to do. You will need to setup WEP Security. Access your routers admin functions, This is simply logging into your router and go to the security section. In the security section there will be an option to provide a WEP key. Type a short phrase or series of characters 6 to 8 characters long. You need to remember this key since you will need to add it to your computers so they can log in. Save the changes and exit your router. Go to your computer and add the wep key to your network connection login information. Power the router down and then back on. Anyone who does nto have the key will not be able to log in to your network connection. If your router ask for login and pasword information you will need to get that from either the User Manual or whoever setup the router initially. If it does not ask for that information you should set that up to prevent others from making changes to your router configuration.

Belkin F5D8233-4 router & I pod touch wifi

What I would try is while the wifi is unsecure go on the computer and open up the browser you are using, on your router the default ip address is 192.168.2.1moz-screenshot.jpg

type the router default ip address in the browser where you would normally type a web address www.google.com

Logging into the Router
You will see the Router’s home page in your browser window. The home page is visible to any user who wants to see it. To make any changes to the Router’s settings, you have to log in. Clicking the
“Login” button or clicking on any one of the links on the home page will take you to the login screen. The Router ships with no password entered. In the login screen, leave the password blank and click the
“Submit” button to log in.
Configuring the Wireless Network Settings
The “Wireless” tab lets you make changes to the wireless network settings. From this tab you can make changes to the wireless network name or Service Set Identifier (SSID), operating channel, encryption security settings, and configure the Router to be used as an access point.
Setting up an Allow Access List
1. Select the “Allow” radio button (1) to begin setting up a list of
computers allowed to connect to the wireless network.
2. Next, in the “MAC Address” field that is blank (3), type in the
MAC address of the wireless computer you want to be able to
access the wireless network, then click “<<Add” (4).
3. Continue to do this until all of the computers you want to add
have been entered.
4. Click “Apply Changes” (5) to finish.

this will allow only the wireless device you select to access your router.
