Possible that the LCD is faulty, a problem with main board or that the phone has hung up because there are errors in the software. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation. Seeking help from the authorized service /support centre is most ideal. Take estimate and decide.

The handsets are displaying 'UNREGISTERED' and not working!

UNREGISTERED means the phone has not yet been set up to work with any particular base. I don't have any Phillips phones, so I can't tell you the procedure, but it should be outlined in the owners manual. Look for registering your handsets.

    Displaying unregisterd sim

Unregistered SIM usually indicates the SIM card you are using has not been activated. Call your provider to ensure the SIM card number you are using is the same one they have in their systems.

    Can't re-register extra receiver

Try this, Push and hold the "End" key, while still pushing the "End" key push in the "#" key and hold both keys till you hear a beep. The LCD display should now say "De-register Handset" and under that "Base Unavailable" Select Base unavailable. The LCD should now say "Handset not registered, place in base" Just set it in the charging cradle on the base unit and it should register to the base.

    Wont Post get 9 beeps!

This problem is due to the mix of registered and unregistered DIMMs. 64Mb and 128 Mb DIMM's are unregistered memory technology 256MB is registered memory technology. A mix of registered and unregistered memory prevents the server from completing startup, and results in an error beep sequence and a blank screen
