SOURCE: I have bought a natural

at the end of the pipe that loosely goes into the burner assembly, there is a nut or metal part that has a small hole that the gas goes through ... that is the "gas jet" .. they have different size holes for natural and lp gas .. the manufacturer should have both .. usually it just unscrews and the new one screws in its place .. there would be one for each burner .. if there is only one burner then you need just one replacement jet with a hole size suitable for Lp gas .. you might be able to get the new jet from a local hardware store if you take the old one with you so they can get the size and style right ..

SOURCE: I have a Bonaire RT21/NG

Most of the time, all there is to do is remove the regulator spring and replace with a kit for the specific model of valve you have cause there are a lot of them out there regardless of who made it. So yes it can be done easy and for peanuts but one has to know is way around gas to do the job safely. A picture of the gas train and the valve would help a lot. Remember, 1 manufacturer can use many types of valve depending on where it is sold due to local rules & regulations. Hope this helps Regards from Canada Guy

Is model no. GFC101W0 propane or natural gas

the difference between natural and lpg is the jet size and it would not be cost effective to produce specific models when all that is required is a change of jets
there may be a stick on tag on the back which states it if is lpg or natural gas but I suggest that because it is gas that you have a gas fitter come in and inspect it

Hi, I have Osaka Gas Heater model 43-540.

A natural gas heater can only burn natural and vice versa unless there are changes such as orifice and regulator. They can easily be converted to use either fuel, but you have to know what fuel supply you have, and what the appliance is set up for. Since you've already tried LPG, if it turns out the appliance is natural gas, then replace the spud (burner nozzle) before trying to operate it again. LPG cannot pass through the small nozzle hole in a natural gas appliance.

It can be done but you will need a professional gas fitter to do the job. It will need different jet sizing and the air mixture tube adjusted to compensate for the different jets.

Rheem 300170 HWS service manual

1) Rheem does not post service manuals.
Call Rheem and ask why, since the other big manufacturers, AO Smith and Bradford White do post service manuals.

2) You need new propane gas control valve, and matching combustion parts to fit existing tank.

http://waterheatertimer.org/images/IMG_1826-LP-burner-450.jpg

3) Rheem does not recommend changing gas type, especially from natural gas to LPG.
LPG is higher pressure, and burns much hotter and requires cast iron burner, unlike the lighter-weight metal used for Natural gas burner.
The manifold tube and thermocouple must match the gas control valve, and gas-type and have correct thread for propane.
The combustion chamber and heat transfer surface can also be heavier metal for propane heaters.

Model reu2402w need jets for lpg the unit at the moment is natural gas still going but need to run it on lpg

Who is the manufacturer of your heater? Unfortunately, the model number alone doesn't help much. Also, you said you need the "jets" to convert it to LPG. Did you mean you needed the burner Orifices?

Please advise. Thanks

329H portable heater Can this be converted to a gas bottle fitting will it be ok what is the use age and how many watts of power to run the electronics etc

You need to convert the unit if you are changing from Natural gas to LPG. This involves getting a full conversion kit for your model and changing burner , gas pressures and electronic settings.

Power draw on high remains at 22Watts. Input is almost identical for either natural or LPG gas as you would expect but running costs depends on how much you pay for your LPG. For example in Australia we use 45kg bottles of LPG, they retails at about A$110 delivered. One of these would last about 170 hours running a 329 on high.About 2 litres of LPG per hour
