Question about HP Mini 110-1037NR Netbook

1 Answer

I have an HP Mini 210. I bought an after-market charger recommended by the guy at Staples, but 1) it's not charging & 2) there is a small "lock" on the upper right side of the Mini. What is this and could IT be what's keeping me from being able to use it? Thanks for any help!

Bought 2 tablets for our kids and the chargers don't work?? HELP

If they are after market chargers then they are probably not putting out the proper voltage... if they are proper chargers it could be the wall plug is reverse polarity... a 5 dollar wall plug tester which looks like a mini charger and bought at any local hardware store can tell you that with its 3 light system.... be surprised how many are wrong in a house.. if that isn't it the charger maybe shot... unlikely two different chargers are bad though... more likely a second hand pad with dead batteries... which means a trip to the repair Depot. But if they are stolen ...

Hp mini 210 bios download file binary original?

Hello, as Mike M says - need more information.
I can offer these two links 'into' HP site:
1) (USA) Drivers Software
2) (UK) Drivers Software this one, I found via HP Support page, link with title "Drivers & Downloads" HP Support Drivers Contact and Help Forums HP Support

If do search on "HP mini 210" in (UK) site, under Customer Support -> Drivers & Software. We get 54 matches: Drivers Software
Suggest you use product number/serial number for a more targeted search on HP site.

My HP mini 210 does not turn on. The power light is off. Might the battery be bad?

If it does not turn on with the power supply plugged in then its more serious than your battery as laptops do not need the battery in when the power is in.
you may have a fulty power socket or even worse a faulty motherboard.
they can be repaired but it is usualy a technicians work.
see socket repair bottom right here.
if your in the UK, I can repair it for you just email on the contact page of the site.

Hp mini 210 too slow

Well, the issue can be caused by many many reasons such as outdated hardware, overload startup programs, corrupt registry issues, too many junks, virus attack, poor security software taking too much system resources, remnants of uninstalled applications etc. The fact is, you should keep some system maintenance job regularly. If you don't want to do these manually, try to give a free & full scan of your slow HP PC to find & fix all possible issues. Best regards!

My first charger broke so i got a new one. And iv had it for a couple months and now its giving me problems... It started to not work in some outlets so i keeep having to move to new ones but then after...

I had my charger fail on me as well, I have a hp mini 210-1000. Before I threw the old charger out, I read the label on it carefully and found a replacement part. The label actually read "hp part number xxxxxx - REPLACE with part number xxxxxx." I simply searched for that part number on ebay and was able to get a reliable replacement. You probably don't have the old charger anymore. If you bought a universal charger to replace your old charger, then that could be the problem. Sometimes off the market universal chargers don't work so well in the long run. To find your charger, find out the exact model of your mini. google "ac adapter for hp mini [model number]. Once you get a part number, search for that part number on ebay. My replacement charger cost me only 16 dollars, with free shipping.
