Well, if you're one of those people who are curious about who might be watching you online, take care.

Right now we're seeing a significant number of Facebook users posting messages such as:

OMG OMG OMG... I can't believe this actually works! Now you really can see who views your profile!!! WOAH

and

See who views your Facebook profile in real-time!!!

how to do who's viewed - views-your-profile-status1.jpg?w=640/images/views-your-profile-status1.jpg?w=640" alt="views-your-profile-status1.jpg?w=640" class="h_mi" />

However, like the "Justin Bieber cell phone number" scam and the "This mother went to jail for taking this pic of her son!" scam, the links pointed to in your friends' status updates are not to be trusted.

If you make the mistake of clicking on the link to one of these pages offering to tell you who is viewing your Facebook profile, you will find that the people behind the "services" want youhow to do who's viewed - see-who-viewed-profile.jpg?w=640>see-who-viewed-profile.jpg?w=640

For instance, they'll ask you to "Like" their pages (which means you are spreading the link to friends in your social network), and they will ask you to advertise their site by posting an "OMG" message (with a link) to at least five different places on Facebook.

After all that hard work you would hope that they would give you access to the powerful Profile Spy app wouldn't you? But I'm afraid your luck is out.

They'll next ask you to hand over your personal information by taking numerous surveys - before ultimately trying to trick you into handing over your cellphone number which thow to do who's viewed - see-who-viewed-profile-21.jpg?w=640ium rate service.

Remember, this scam doesn't work as the result of clickjacking, or a vulnerability on Facebook. The scammers are achieving their ends because of human gullibility - pure and simple. If people considered what they were doing and thought twice about the possible consequences then we would see nothing like as many of these attacks occurring, and our news feeds on Facebook would see less spam.

Do your bit for the public good and share this page on Facebook to warn your online friends about scams like this. Press the button at the side to share this article if you're a Facebook user.

Interestingly, the pages that this particular scam points you to aren't on Facebook, but still display a fake Facebook header at the top. You will notice if you visit them that although the top menu options are there, they cannot be clicked on - which clearly makes the pages look even more suspect.

Ultimately you have to have your wits about you to avoid scams like this. If you or your friends keep falling for these sort of confidence tricks, or want to learn more about security threats, don't forget you can join the Sophos page on Facebook.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I wanna get old profile in facebook

I do not think it's possible to revert to the old profile pages. Facebook is updating all users to the new timeline automatically. Eventually everyone will have the timeline view.

I ended up with the timeline and I did not ask for it and I don't like it, I want it gone

The short answer is you can't.
  • Facebook announced a "Trial run" of Timeline on December 15th of last year.
  • All accounts were supposed to be rolled to the new format in January/early February.
  • A 7 day grace period was given to hide and edit content in the timeline view before your profile went public for your friends to see the new view.
  • Announcements about the Timeline change were placed at the top of users' home pages.

If you'd like, go to this page and learn about the timeline features: http://www.facebook.com/about/timeline
It might change your mind, and actually gives you more control of your profile once you get the hang of it.

The Facebook blog also gives a nice outline at the settings :http://blog.facebook.com/blog.php?post=10150408488962131

How to check who views my fb profile

Facebook does not allow you to see who views your Facebook Profile. There are some fb apps that claim to from time to time, but it is against Facebook's policy and they don't work.
However, when you look at someone's page enough times, Facebook will jump that person's name higher on the cue when you begin to type in their name.

Some people think the amount of times an individual views your Facebook Profile is accounted for in Facebook's people search. In other words, if a person views your page frequently (or recently) they will also jump higher in your people search when you begin to type their name. (This is unconfirmed and just a theory floating around the internet.)
See Facebook's explanation of how their search works.

If you mean simply the people who view your profile, you can't do that, and there are no applications that let you, they are usually scams. Sorry. :)

I can not find add friend

For some Facebook profiles, 'Add friend' button would be disabled. This is because of privacy setting set by the owner of the profile you visit.
You too can limit people from sending you friend request by going to Account(drop-down at upper right of Facebook profile page)->Privacy Setting->Connecting on Facebook section->View settings->Send you friend Request section->Choose 'Friends of Friends' or 'Everyone'. If you choose 'Friends of Friends', people outside this circle would not be able to see 'Add Friend' button in your profile.

Locked profile

Unfortunately, if someone has locked their profile for public viewing, the only way to view their profile is to send them a friend request.

Once the friend request is accepted, you will be able to view their profile.

I want to see who view my profile

On pretty much all social media sites for example: Facebook, it is not possible to see who views your profile. It's a privacy thing, and a lot of these ''See who has viewed your profile'' are scams or viruses. Hope this helps.

Who views my facebook profile?

If you question means that whether can I know who views my profile..well,facebook doesnt have this feature. Don't get fooled by applications which proclaims that ti will show your recent visitors. Those are just spams. But you can control who can view your profile.

Your facebook profile can be viewed by
1.people in your friends list alone if you have given such privacy settings
2.friends of your friends when such privacy settings are set
3.everyone when no privacy settings are set

You can restrict your photo album to be viewed by everyone, friends, specific friends and only You.

You can change these privacy settings by logging in to facebook->account->privacy settings. there you will view your current settings and various other settings.

You can customize all these settings as you wish and return back to profile.

How do i find out who has looked at my facebook profile?

Hi!
To tell you the truth - you just CAN'T! Only because it's against the site's ethic codes.
There are PLENTY of "working" applications that claim to do the job, but 100% of them are fraud!
Spare yourself the time looking for a real app. that will do the job - none will!
Sorry...

A quotation from Facebook Help Center:
Can I see who's viewed my profile? There's a group or application claiming I can find out who has been viewing my profile.Facebook does not allow users to track profile views or see statistics... Facebook does not allow users to track profile views or see statistics on how often a particular piece of content has been viewed and by whom without your consent.

If an Application claims to provide this functionality, you can report an application for abuse by going to the application’s About page and clicking "Report Application" at the bottom of the page, or by clicking "Report" at the bottom of any canvas page within the application. http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=14357

Take care,
Pelu.
