yeah that didn't really answer my question.

i'm thinking it has something to do with d/loading it using the camera's USB cord, which took forever. maybe if i transfer it directly with a card reader?

any other advice please, on getting the audio/video to synch up? Thanks.

Hi.

The S3 and other canons record AVIs as Motion JPEGS.

they should play in media player, but you may need to download a codec.

I use VEMoDe, a free movie converter. this may work for you. For playing on the PC I recommend the "Pocket PC' or Pocket PC VGA setting.

Thanks.

HOW DO YOU EXTEND THE FILMING LENGHTH IN A fUJIFILM FINEPIX S3380 CAMERA

The S3380 is a still camera with limited video capabilities, not a true video camera. No matter how big the memory card, a single movie clip cannot exceed nine minutes.

This limitation is due to economics, not technical. In some countries video cameras are taxed at a higher rate than still cameras. A still camera that cannot record for ten minutes is considered to be a still camera, not a movie camera, and is thus taxed at the lower rate.

How often do you see something in a movie lasting ten minutes, shot continuously from the same viewpoint with the same camera? Usually movies are made by splicing together shorter clips.

If you really need to be able to film longer clips, like a family member performing in a play or a concert, then you need a true video camera.

Everio movie editing

First check sound settings on control panel, ensure volume is not at minimum and computer audio is not muted. Test playing a CD.

this is usually due to Media Player or whatever player you use on your pc, not having the right codecs to decompress sound from camera file.

Usually you sort it out upgrading media player, you can download update from links below.

These days every programs have started explaining things by showing you a video clips which requires downloading through a software called adobe flash player. The process of downloading is quite time...

Adobe Flash Player is an add-on on browsers like Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. it plays a vital part in playing video clips as it is interpreting the video file to play on the browser. Also you can update to the latest version so that you will be able to watch video clips automatically. One thing that might be the cause of the slow download is your internet connection. You can ask assistance from your Internet Service Provider to check what is the speed of your Internet. You can get the latest Adobe Flash Player from Adobe.com and by clicking on the link on the right part of the page to download the latest version of Flash Player.
