Question about Televison & Video
This symptoms indicated of faulty sustain board and/or the main unit board.
First the unit must isolate from loose connection because it will produce same symptoms. It needs to open the back cover and take it apart, pull-out all the cable connectors from the main board, sustain board, power supply board and then re-insert and ensure the connection. Also the affected boards must check from bad solder joints.
If the symptoms still persist after the first steps has been done, the fault is either the sustain board and/or the main unit board. Sustain board is the one process the image came from the main unit board and once failed, same symptoms will be the result. Even if the sustain board is working but if the main unit board has no signal feeding this board same symptom also is the result.
This is not DIY and quite technical because it needs some special test instrument to determine where the fault came from. I would advice you to send it in to isolate the faulty boards.
Also, check if your unit has an extended warranty, if so, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!

Test all power and data leads that attach to your hard drive IDE,SATA
the leads from your (motherboard to your hard drive) make sure they have secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they might be faulty
if its a 40 pin flat ribbon type it will be the first to fail
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty
even something as small as a faulty electrical fan and its lead can cause you problems
computers need all power and data to continue through every working device and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
make sure your graphics card is securely seated with no dust built up or in the socket
