Question about Konica Minolta PagePro 1350W Laser Printer
Usually, there is a little hole on the side of the cartridge of ink, it like the reset button of your old nintendo. so if you want your printer to consider you before empty cartridge full, push the reset button that is near the part that the ink exits and it sould work great. you can even reset your cartridge when its says its empty, sometimes its not even really empty and you can go for some other miles whit it
(sorry for my english, i usually speak french)

I am very familiar with replacing the print head on Lexmark laser printers, but I cannot speak for the Konica Minolta line as far as replacing it.
Depending on the value and age of the printer, you might want to replace it rather than replace the print head as well.

It's done via the printers internal menu system: On your Menu Select button press the arrow down once, then press the right or left arrow until it displays Menu Engine, then press down arrow again, then arrow right or left until it displays Engine Replace Toner (not Engine change toner SZ), then arrow down again, then arrow right/left till it shows the toner color you need to change, then hit the Menu Select button in the middle. The cartridges rotate until the one you selected appears, open the door and voila!

There are many problems like that and its not recommended to change toner from one printer to another.
but you should try: put the old toner (emty) in again, then turn off the printer, change toner and turn on printer again.
if thats not helping, then maybe you have a old FW so you can try to update the firmware.

On the 2300 model there is a small tab that has to be pushed in when you refill it so the unit knows its been replaced. Look on the end and you will see two slots, one of which leads to a channel that the tab is in. Use a small screw driver to push the tab back towards the center of the cartridge. Don't try to do it from the top, use insert it into the end opening only or you may break the tab off.
