Did you try to screw it back anti-clockwise? 90% of bikes has one pedal right threaded and another left threaded. Keep it simple:))

Mongoose xr-75 pedal & crank fell off of bike

I actually found a bike today with an enclosed crank case. Your fix would be simple if it is the same. What you need is to replace the set screw that came out the crank and pedal. When you look at the crank that fell off down where it attaches you should notice a hole without a set screw in it. Find one to fit in that and then put it back on the bike. If you have not figured this out or need more clarification just let me know.

How do I fix a bike pedal that fell off and is stipped?

If the pedal post is stripped get a new pedal. If the crank side of it is stripped you can just replace the crank and put new pedals on it.

I need to replace the right pedal on a Mongoose GMX ladies bicycle which has been chewed off by a dog. I need to buy the pedal and also would like to get an owners/instruction manual as the used bike was...

I tried to find the user manual online but I can get one, I would suggest to visit your manufacturer's website for you to get one.

For replacing a pedal, you just need some tools like open grinch depending on the size of your pedal.

Thanks.

eBay amazon and your lbs (local bike shop). the bike shop will be mire expensive but the service will be well worth it. Unless you know what you are doing and have all the nessesary parts and tools take it tho your lbs. You will be glad you did Ps the left pedal is reverse threded. (righty loucy lefty tighty) Put some bike lube the pedals threads too if that was the prob.

The pedals are stuck and will not go forward. Feels like I've got breaks when trying to pedal.

your coaster brake could be locked. Without seeing it, it is kind of hard to tell but another thing could be that the back wheel is not seated right or is bent. Take it back to where you bought it and have them fix it.

Your pedal falling off is never a good thing, nor is the entire crank arm assembly.

For this one you are best taking it into your local bike shop and have them take a look at why both of these fell off. There are a number of reasons, from stripped thread to missing bolts and nuts to improper assembly. None of these are a good scenario with a childs bike, or any bike for that matter.

Alternative, and my personal suggestion - Take the bike back to where it was purchased and exchange for a new one. These parts should not fall off after years of riding let alone 2 days, and would constitute a warranty and safety issue.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CONTINUING TO RIDE THIS BIKE, SINCE YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT ELSE WAS IMPROPERLY ASSEMBLED.

Bike pedal fell off on a brand new huffy how do i put it back on

If, the threads aren't stripped, you can put it back on by getting a pedal wrench, and standing in front of the bike, now take the wrench and turn it towards you (clockwise) to tighten. But, if you rode with it loose, then you need a new crank arm. If, the store put it together go back to them but if you did, it is not a defect and you have to pay for one.

My son has the Huffy rock out bike. The pedal fell off, and so I was sent the whole single arm crank and new pedals. I have no owners manual, and no assembly instructions whatsoever. Along with the crank...

The reason the pedal fell of is because of a bad set up. Who assembled the bike? If, you did, guess what! You did not tighten the pedal to the crank arm to begin with. If, Walmart or other discount store did it, have them fix it. You have to understand. you bought the bike without professionals putting it together and sometimes that is a problem when you don't have the knowledge of what you are doing. You have to pay one way or another. When you let a kid ride a bike that is not assembled correctly you are endangering them. My advice is :Get it fixed right.

I just got a roadmaster mt bike for christmas and now everytime I pedal it makes a thump noise. It only happens when I pedal but when I'm coasting it does not.

That could very well be a problem with the pedal shaft, or it might be a problem with the pedals not being fixed tight to the shaft. If the bike is still under warranty, best to take it back and have them either adjust or replace. If it's a shaft problem, repair would be expensive outside warranty.

Bike pedal is striped , get a new one or buy new bike?

it depends on the bike. if it's a "cheap-o" bike;
if it's one for little kids that costs under $50 - $70 or so then yeah, just get a new one.
if it's a nice bike that cost you a bit more, i'd get it repaired at a bike shop or a sporting goods store.

Hope this helps!
