Question about U-Line 2075DWRR Compact Refrigerator

Model# U-C02175DWRS Refrigerator warm, freezer

Model# U-C02175DWRS Refrigerator warm, freezer drawer seems alright. Display flashing "Er 36F". Door was beeping constantly as if open. It wasn't and finally stopped. The only visible items, I can see, is a door sensor located left side back of the upper cabinet and a tubular white something attached to the right side. The door sensor (?) wires attached did have a cover on it which was broken.

Hello, thank you. What do I check these for? The beeping has stopped. Refrigerator drawer is very warm

  • debrashaver May 23, 2011

Hello, experts! Pls review my original post. If I need to check a particular part (descriptin and location), what do I check for. My concern is the refrigerator portion (which I emptied) being very warm. Everything in the freezer section is frozen hard except for ice cream :( Again, the refrigerator flashes Er 36 degrees. The part I see, in the top cabinet, is one item on the left back with a wire coming from it (the plastic cover on this broke off) and a tubular item on the right side.

Hello. I am going to try all these things this w/e. I have emptied the top drawer fridge. It has cooled some on its own. New thing - flashing "10e" now.

  • debrashaver Jun 09, 2011

The display was flashing 36. I checked the actual temp and it was 39. I reset the thermostat to 39, since that seems to be what it wants. What does the flashing "10E" mean?

Drawer(s) open longer than 20 minutes. Close drawer(s) completely. The set-point temperature
should now be displayed.

The most common is that the drawer wasn't sealing properly. At the ends of the slides you see a white plastic end. This is called door closers. Remove your drawers,Unplug the top drawer. Then remove the closers on all slides. Take a small screw driver then push on the top of the slide. You should see a piece of the closers.

While pushing down pull the ends out.You see the hook and spring, sometimes the hooks get off track and keep the drawer from closing. By keeping them out this should help. Also if you have vegetables keep them in sealed containers. Finally, is you have the display set at 34 and this will cause the unit to run 100% of the time. Recomend 36 degrees.

Hope helps.

Hi debrashaver,

Have you already checked the temperature setting?

To display the actual temperature of each drawer, press the "^" and "v" touch sensors simultaneously for three seconds.nThe display indicates the actual temperature. After approximately 10 seconds, the set point temperature displays.

To adjust the temperature set point, touch and hold either "^" or "V" for that drawer for three seconds. When the LED displays "SP", lift your finger from controller and the corresponding LED will begin to flash the set point. Touch the "^" or "v" until the desired set point displays. Wait 10 seconds for the new set point to be saved. Wait 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize before checking the actual temperature again. Each wine compartment can be set to 40F to 60F.

A flashing indicator light (LED dot) indicates a thermistor error in that drawer. You need to have the machine be serviced.

Hope it helps.

Hi debrashaver,

If you're experiencing continuous beep, that is an alarm for the door being open. Please check the reed switch on the wall and the magnet on the door. For the top drawer, it is located at the upper left. and on the bottom it is located on the grill and door. This is the easiest way to correct the beeping issue.

Just let me know that will happen next.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Fridgidaire refrigerator flashing error code 4

From what I remember a flashing 4 means "damper error". Send your model number found inside or on the outside of the fresh food section, The air damper is found between the freezer and fresh food section and regulates temperature in the fresh food section by opening wide for things that warm up your fresh food section example would be opening the door and letting warm air inside . The damper then closes to keep the right temperature. If you have questions please ask, Thanks Sea Breeze

Refrigerator displaying error "ER FF".

Error Code "Er FF" indicates a problem with the unit's freezer fan.

The freezer fan controls the temperature in the freezer. The source of this error is most likely ice buildup. As with the Er IF error, allowing the unit to thaw should resolve the issue.

This can be caused by frost accumulationon or around the freezer fan. Unplug the unit for 3-4 hours to allowthis to melt off. If error code persists, call Customer Service.

Hope this helps.

Refrigerator warm, display blank but freezer still works

The Er DH error code indicates the temperature sensor on the evaporator coil did not reach 50 degrees within one hour.
This would indicate the control board did put the refrigerator through a defrost cycle.

This problem could be caused by a defective relay on the control board, a defective defrost heater, a broken wire to the heater, or a stopped up drain on the defrost pan causing ice to form on the evaporator coil.

Before replacing the control board, someone should remove the food from the freezer, remove the freezer drawer, and remove the evaporator cover to expose the evaporator coil, heater, and defrost sensor.
The voltage to the defrost heater should be 120 volts ac.
The defrost heater is part of the evaporator coil and is not replaceable as a separate part.

You can test the operation of the defrost system by pressing "Ultra Ice" and "colder freezer temp" for 3 seconds.
The first time you press and hold the buttons the board will test the compressor, fan, and open the damper.

All displays should be on.

The second time you press and hold the buttons the board will test the compressor, fan, and close the damper.

The third time you press and hold the buttons, the board will turn the compressor and fan off and turn the defrost heater on for around 25 minutes. This would let you know if the defrost system is working.

The display will stay on normal for about 5 min and then give me a Er FF. What to do?

problem may be the main pcb or evaporator fan motor. this unit has several problems. if the model# starts with a 795 it was made by LG. the er ff code is caused most of the time from frost building up around fan motor. this can also be caused by freezer liner sagging at the top of freezer causing frost build up, sears has a service flash for this that is covered by the manufacture. service flash sf46-512. iwould call sears and find out if your model is on this service flash.

Ice cube maker not working. digital display not

The ice fan is frozen. It is located behind the rear panel inside the freezer2.gif drawer. I had the same problem with an LG refrigerator in November 2008 that was fixed under warranty. (There is a Kenmore model that is made by LG.) They replaced the fan and housing, and the panel duct assembly (both because a design revision provided a way to drain the water that was freezing the fan), and the main controller board (presumably because there was a new defrost program, but also because of the Energy Star settlement.) If your refrigerator is out of warranty, you can remove the freezer drawer to get at the panel behind it. Remove and defrost the fan housing. Drill some small holes in the bottom of the fan housing for drainage. Put it back together and see if that solves the problem.
