Question about Brother MFC 5-in-1 Multifunction Laser Printer
Posted by Anonymous on
If you are using Windows 7, check Brother web-site. There are older Brother printer that scanning is not supported by Brother. In my case, I have MFC 5440CN. I installed Virtual XP within Windows 7 and I do my scanning in Virtual XP. Hope this helps.

Printers usually have a separate driver for scanning and printin.
You might need to install that driver into the pc where you want the scan to come out on. It usually comes out when you insert the install disk.
If you do not have the install disk, just go online to the brother printer website and type in your printer model number usually it will show you the drivers needed to install and instructions to do it.
