Try pressing the function (func) button.

  • tralynda May 19, 2011

I did press the function button. I have pressed and held all buttons, so I think it may be a combination of buttons?

    Thank you.

Do you know if there is a reset switch on the deck? If there is, it will be an unlabeled depression about the size of a pencil tip on the face, or a small hole with a switch behind it on the subpanel behind the face. If so, try pressing that. You can also try disconnecting power to the radio for an hour or so to see if it may reset itself.

I did find two possible reset holes or depressions and pressed them, but it didn't work. I do not know how to disconnect the power since it's in a sealed dash.

    Thank you for your suggestions!

How did you lose power? Did the battery go dead? Sometimes you can reset the radio by disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes.

  • tralynda May 20, 2011

Yes, the starter had to be replaced and since then the stereo won't work. I will try disconnecting the battery this evening.
    Thank you

I finally got around to disconnecting the battery but that didn't work either!

I can tune in the radio but when i switch of the ignition and switch back on all the stations are lost cheers

The wires are backwards. The Yellow wire is to be for direct power to battery so it keeps memory. The red power wire is to turn on when igniton is turned on.

Clarion 3475 speakers wired, player wont turn on

The RED from the clarion wire must be hooked up to a switched power source ... that was wired to your old radio, then press the reset switch, and it should then turn on.
