Question about Roomba Pro Elite Bagless Robotic Vacuum
I have a Roomba 400 series and the brushes will not turn now I have bought new ones and installed them and still they will not turn, I can see this because I have the dust bin off and you can see that they will not go round, it seems to be having trouble turning, any ideas?
Try to turn the brushes by hand, while the machine is off and on it's back. If the brushes will not turn, the brush motor is burned out. If you are mechanically inclined you should not have too much trouble replacing it.
Remove the bumper, then the case. You will see a motor with a long square shaft. That will be the motor to replace.
Personally, I recommend the RobotShop for buying a replacement motor.
