Question about Garden
Remove the top cover, twist and remove the air filter, there is a small spring that retains the throttle rod at the carb spindle, carefuuly unhook this, it also acts as the throttle sprindle return spring, depress the throttle trigger, hold the throttle spindle open with your finger and let the trigger go, you should now be able to lift the throttle push rod up and out of the spindle, pull the throttle rod away with the rubber boot attached, pull the earth return and cut out wire away from there terminals, unhook the air filter housing from the rubber straps, lift the carb up and use a 4mm allen key to remove the two retaining screws, pull the fiel hose off and remove the carb from the saw.
The pump side of the carb is an alloy plate held with a single screw, under here you will find a gasket and a pump diaphram, in that order, once removed you will find the main fuel filter, clean or replace, the metering side is a chrome plate held with four screws, you will find a diaphram and a gasket, in that order, once removed you will see the inlet needle and metering lever.
