Lift the cooker using a helecopter and drop it on cannon HQ as this is the only pleasure you will recieve from purchasing a cannon chesterfield cooker Looks like a RollsRoyce shame about the engine The first one we bought was plauged with problems Having only owned the cooker a few days and 3 visits from there very well mannerd technitians cannon replaced the cooker but alas the technitians had to visit again It has been over a year now and would you believe it top oven wont ignite niether will the rings and no its not the fuse in the plug Clock eluminated not bad for around 500 quid

My cannon duo cooker was working one day then next day the clock doesn't work, the ignition wont work theres no gas coming through to lite oven manually whats the problem the rings work perfectly

Gas ovens invariably have a safety thermocouple to cut the gas off automatically if the flame goes out, due to an interruption in the supply for instance. The thermocouple must be temporarily over-ridden for the purpose of lighting the burner and pilot and often the override is mechanical but considering the clock and ignition has stopped working it would be reasonable to assume your oven has an electrical or electronic thermocouple override.

It would seem either the mains supply to your cooker has failed or the internal power supply has a problem. With such a sophisticated oven, even if you had been able to light it manually, it is possible the temperature control wouldn't have worked.

Oven makes a clicking sound after it has been baking for 2-3 hours.

Dear Robbird:
You need to give more detail---- brand. model, age, gas or electric, speed or repetitiveness of the sound; is it a click or a tick sound ? I will assume it is gas. Is the sound the same as when you start a top burner and you hear the tick as it is lighting? Or, is it a click the is slower and you hear it from somewhere inside the oven ? It could be the metal body expanding as the outer parts of the oven get hotter with long hour usage. I n the is case, there is nothing to do or to worry about. Does the sound stop when you turn off the oven or does it continue for a while. Naybe you can resubmit with better info to get a more precise diagnosis. Wait to hear from you, Macgivor.

When i turn on the oven the top hobs keep clicking on my canon cooker

Hello Brian
Welcome to Fixya.

You said, when you turn on the oven the top knobs keep clicking on my canon cooker.

If you mean the electronic ignition keeps clicking when you turn the oven, It sounds like one of the switches that is controlled by the knobs, is stuck and malfunctioning! It sounds like it needs to be replaced.
There are 5 electronic igniter's on a 4 burner gas range, and the fifth is in the oven.

Let me know how you do.
Please remember to leave a rating when you finish.
Thank You, Huuum
