Question about Samsung CLP 300 Laser Printer

My black ink is really faded. I installed a new cartridge but the black ink is still the same. The color ones work great, but most of my printing is with the black ink.

Sounds like toner build up on your developer blades in the imaging unit. If the black look like this:

The problem is with the developer in the imaging unit. The problem can be fixed by either replacing the imaging unit for $100+ or you can fix it yourself by cleaning the imaging unit. You will need simple hand tools and if you are careful restore the print quality of your printer. Try going into the menu and cleaning your print heads. If that doesn't work, take out the cartridge and using a cotton swab and alcohol, clean the print heads.

Hi,

Here are some steps you can check to resolve your issue.

Check if the ink cartridges are low, specially the color black since if the black is empty, you are using the colored cartridges to print black. If the cartridges are newly replaced check the cartridges by reseating it. Try to consider changing the print quality high but doing so will use more ink. If still the same try to clean your printer heads.

Here are the instruction for cleaning your printer.

Open the printer tool box. (open a word, then click on file then print, choose properties, then services)
click on clean the print cartridges, then clean. Do test printing as well to check if the color is correct. If still the same calibrate the color which can be found in the same menu.

I installed new ink cartridges, printer detects a problem


You could try doing the clean program 3 times and then doing a nozzle check. I have had the same problem with both cartridges since I got mine refilled at Cartridge World and they told me to do this. It works sometimes but when I print again the page doesn't print well and I repeat the process.

I cant print photos on a paper they look faded when i print them and when i print a leter or words it prints really well, the printer is a canon pixma mp130...do you know what the problem might be ?


my canon mp250 won't print color photos it does well with BW but not color. I took back the first one I had did the same thing now the second one won't print color photos off the internet. what did I do wrong? Both inks are brand new.

Standard black printing has faded to grey.


Could just be a faulty cartridge?

My hp printer developed a similar fault, and despite all my attempts to clean, realign, whatever, the problem wasn't solved till I fitted a new ink cartridge. It's worth a try.

Faded or no printing of documents


First, have you removed the protective tape from the bottom of the printer cartridge? I know it sounds simple, but it's something easy to overlook when you install a new cartridge.

Color ink is not working


Dear Black Rose
It is strongly recommended to change your colour cartridge.
Or it can be possible that you did not use your colour cartridge for a long time.
The nozzle of colour cartridge are blocked, if you did not use your colour cartridge for a long time.
Purchase a new cartridge if you can or go for a local refiller to refill (if possible) your colour cartridge.

Print faded after replacing black cartridge Brother 240C


The print heads don't appreciate being out of ink so the Brother printer has sensors to prevent that but the tape defeated that prevention. Maybe more cleanings or maybe a cartridge with printhead cleaning solution will help. Otherwise, I fear a new printer.
