Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W90 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Warning massage I am getting a warning message in the screen a soon as I turn on the camera E91-01. Also the flash will not operate. My Cyber-shot display screen suddenly started flashing E61:00.  I know this is the self-diagnosis display, but can't find any explanations for this code.  Also, today my computer doesn't recognize my camera when I try to import new pics.

I get a warning which says *Battery Exhausted*. I've replaced them but still get the warning.. Any idea whats wrong?

earlier i posted solution in similary problem. maybe help you this.

solution is good batteries, Ni-Mh or Lithium, rechargeable only not alkaline. but...problem is how long you watch pictures on lcd display or how much is flash in use. if always by shooting pics used flash that means that you can with best batteries 30, 20 or less pics shooted. and of course, if you connect camera with pc, how long is cam on? just transfer pics on pc and turn the camera off. the best solution is use the card reader for pics transfering.
if is flash off, it's possible to shot 120-150 pics with Ni-Mh. with lithium i don't know, maybe 500 pics. don't use camera lcd for analysing pics it's just there for short preview.
with alkaline batt., very low quality, i shot 30 pics without flash.

i shot also very good pics at night without flash. nikon coolpix L15 can do that but you must have more praxis. alkaline batteries shooting!
after 3 pictures on display is message: warning! the battery is exhausted. what you can do? turn the camera off. wait about 10 minutes. turn the camera on, you can shot 3 or 5 pictures and than turn your camera off again.
you can repeat this few times and you be lucky if you 30 pics captured:)
REMEMBER: all this goes without camera flash!!!
flash and every zooming use more battery power! and that was all magic:).

Warning signal just before I shot pic

Hi

It means there is not enough light and you will probably end up with a blurry photo if you don't use the flash.

Good luck

Cybershot H7 focus problem

Things to check before you assume it is a mechanical issue-you can get vibration message if flash is disabled, be sure also that the macro mode is not enabled-this is very common on sony cameras to turn on by accident-flower button on camera will put in close up mode and you will get blur make sure no flower is present on lcd screen-if in macro press button on camera w/flower to turn off-also in menu you have continuous and monitor auto focus settings try changing one or the other and see what happens

Blurred pictures

I had the same problem. The solution is in the manual but it is not straight forward. You have to set steady shot to auto when the shutter button is pressed half way down. The vibration warning will still show. At this point the camera is sensing low light. The to need to make sure the flash is set to always on. The flash setting for background will not turn the vibration warning off.

Warning when i power on

The internals to the lens assembly is at fault and only a micro repair can fix it, sometimes it the pins that allows the lens to move are off track. sometimes its the focal motor within the lens. all are motor gear driven and stick randomly.
not worth fixin due to the falling prices.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55... Problem: "vibration warning" what is this?

My husband just discovered that it has to do with the flash setting. When the auto-flash and flash-on modes are on, it doesn't do it. When the "SL" mode is on - I get the Vibration Warning.
